Hi victorywp!

Yup Bcard points will be on top of existing cashback! Signing up with Shopback as a Bcard member gives you Bcard points and you will still be able to enjoy cashback with every purchase made with us.

This means that instead of Bcard points replacing cashback, Bcard members WILL still get cashback together with Bcard points smile.gif

Hope this answers your question!

Hi Hitch80!

        No you do not have to! Simply drop our customer service a message requesting Bcard membership and we'll make the change on your existing account to reflect that you are a Bcard member!

        As a Bcard member, every dollar you spend gives you 1 Bcard point. For travel orders, kindly note that the maximum number of points is capped at 200.

        Please do not hesitate to drop us a PM if you have any additional queries.

        Thank you for using ShopBack and happy shopping!
*
But I already did that. My bcard number already exist in my account info in www.shopback.my. So is bcard.shopback.my still necessary?

Hi hitch80,

Kindly take note if you're using shopback.my the conversion is as follows:

For every 1 RM spent, you get 1 Bcard point plus cashback

If you're using bcard.shopback.my instead, there is NO cashback but we will give Bcard points as shown in your screenshot.

You can sign up on both websites and keep both accounts, but are only allowed to use either one for a purchase. For example, let's say you make two purchases , A and B.

Purchase A - use shopback.my to buy --> get cashback and points if you indicate card membership

Purchase B - use bcard.shopback.my --> NO cashback but you get way more points than if you used shopback.my.

We have decided to have two domains for Malaysia as we believe this will give our customers greater flexibility as to how they would like to be rewarded with every purchase with us.

Hope this clarifies any doubts and apologies if we had caused any misunderstanding!

@aspatarme apologies if our explanation was ambiguous! The amount of card points you stand to gain from your purchase defers according to merchant. For example, a purchase from Zalora might earn you bcard points up to 16 times your purchase value, while a purchase from Melissa Shoes will earn you card points 10 times your purchase value.

@ hitch80 thanks for your help!

For purchase A, example ASOS: get 5% cash back plus how many points? 5X?

For purchase B, ASOS again: get 5X points or 10X points? If 5X, then purchase A is better.

@aspartame

using ASOS as a example,

Purchase A : 5% cashback , number of bcard points received equals the total value of your purchase i.e. one-to-one conversion

Purchase B : NO Cashback , number of bcard points received is 5X the total value of your purchase.

Hope this answers your question!

Ok, very clear now. For some purchases, A is better by a bit. For others, B is much better.

@aspartame Yup! We want to give customers better flexibility as to how they reward themselves with each purchase, so it's up to you whether you want cashback with bcard points, or just a lot of bcard points!

Collect your Mesra points at Level 3, Information Counter (10am to 10pm) when you spend at The Mines.

Stand a chance to win a pair of AirAsia return flight tickets* monthly with every RM100 spent. Double up your chances when you charged to PB Credit / Debit Card.

* Terms & Conditions apply.
*
I have a query on this....what if we spend RM100 or RM70 for PB card holder, we will straight get 600 mesra points? so those who spent 499/349 also getting 600 points only?

And why in your post there are details t&c while in these links below, the t&C not mentioned

Bro, have you seen American TV series Extreme Couponing before ?
I would suggest you to start a thread entitle Extreme Cashbacking to discus all about cash back and rebate.
Include all loyalty rewards, CC reward's points, cash back, shopback, discount coupon, group buy deal etc in the discussion.
*
after much consideration, i think this suggested "extreme cashback" thread will not last long (if opened). merchants will always come to check and all the "holes" we are taking advantage of will be "patched" very quickly. so i will just continue to post on&off at related thread and not in a dedicated thread. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 8 2015, 05:13 PM)
concur, should have a dedicated topic for these discussion (specific to group buy/deals, shopback/linkbacks sites, etc) at "Finance, Business and Investment House" sub-forum instead.

seeking mods/staffs cherroy hye MilesAndMore advises and comments.
*
i think this is a good idea to have deals sites like groupon/ensogo/streetbuy/etc or even lazada/rakuten/11street/etc and linkback sites like shopback/milkadeal/etc to have its own dedicated topic at different sub-forum instead of keep "tumpang thread" at this loyalty card thread.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jun 8 2015, 09:19 PM)
Did it ? I was not aware on the existence of such topic...
I am fine with any of you starting a new thread to discuss everything about shopback, milkadeal etc. You may start it on the main board HERE. Once it is getting a lot of interest, i'll consider to pin the topic.
*
i think i will try to start a new thread to have all who's interested to discuss on shopback/milkadeal there. then i will assist together with the help from HappyBagSB and wilsonquah. nod.gif

Hi victorywp!

We actually just set up an official Shopback thread on Lowyat! However after much consideration for mods cherroy and MilesandMore our thread has been moved to the services forum instead. Here's the link!

https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3605252

New lowyat users will be in for a little surprise when they sign up with Shopback via Lowyat forums thumbup.gif
