Hi all,

I saw that we can redeem Agoda.com RM20 cash voucher using 1900 bcard points.

May I ask how this cash voucher works? Can i use it to offset the amount i need to pay using agoda.com/maybank website with maybank cc? E.g, total amount that i need to pay is RM200.. offset it with this cash voucher, so the amount i need pay is RM180? And i pay this RM180 using maybank cc.

Is the above correct? Just want to see if it is worth to redeem this cash voucher.

Thanks in advance smile.gif

i suppose that's the way. end of last year i planned to redeem but the voucher expiry is 31/12/14 so i didn't proceed. i have forgotten about it until you mentioned now. perhaps i will try it the next time and let you know. or if you are faster than me, please let me know too.

if your hotel stay is below rm250, i would suggest you to buy via shopback/milkadeal link, instead of maybank link. shopback/milkadeal offers rm25 for each successful reservation.

Hi victorywp,

Thanks for your reply and the useful information. I was not aware of the shopback/milkadeal rm25 rebate. My hotel stay would be around RM300-500. So i am guessing maybank link would be better?

I will mostly book it around july/august. Will let you know then. Thanks a lot for your help. smile.gif

if you really want to maximise your cashback, you may book few times. for example, if your rm300-500 consists of 2 rooms OR for 2 days. you may book twice (once per room or per day) so you can get rm25 x 2 times = rm50 from shopback/milkadeal. if it's 2 rooms AND 2 days, then book 4 times separately to make it rm100 reward. because they reward you based on successful reservation. after that you may email the hotel and request to put your separate reservations under the same guest, meaning that you don't need to change room later on. lol...

Bro, have you seen American TV series Extreme Couponing before ?
I would suggest you to start a thread entitle Extreme Cashbacking to discus all about cash back and rebate.
Include all loyalty rewards, CC reward's points, cash back, shopback, discount coupon, group buy deal etc in the discussion.

concur, should have a dedicated topic for these discussion (specific to group buy/deals, shopback/linkbacks sites, etc) at "Finance, Business and Investment House" sub-forum instead.

seeking mods/staffs cherroy hye MilesAndMore advises and comments.

I am fine with any of you starting a new thread to discuss everything about shopback, milkadeal etc. You may start it on the main board HERE. Once it is getting a lot of interest, i'll consider to pin the topic.

@victorwp thank you for assisting!

@hitch80 Which seller did your friend make a purchase from? Kindly take note that cashback tracking differs for different sellers. For example, cashback from Groupon MY can be tracked within a day, whereas cashback from Lazada MY takes up to 2 days to be tracked.

If your friend's status is still "awaiting purchase" , drop us at message at https://www.shopback.my/account/missingcashback and we'll get back to you ASAP!

Yes have to reregister, email address, password and bcard number! so this is only bcard points no cashback(eg zalora 16X bpoints instead of 16% cashback)
register and get 500 bpoints

is this on top of the existing cashback that we are currently enjoying? or it replaces it?
