a lot of old days developers like to hold their condominiums as for investment purpose. now they see the land value shoot up and redevelop the land for a better use.

Skyrocket...no la...it's depend affordability in market also..income like apple(small) will no hv return for watermelon(big size).
How do you think for Hong Kong Economy & Population?in there,RM 3 million just buy 400 sq.ft apartment...here 3 million can buy bungalow..But their income is 10 times here.(normal exe level).
Did you think developer after 5 years will launch 3 million super link in KV by expecting people no afford to buy? there better built bungalow.
Condo sure be normal exe main home since no afford buy landed property.
Next 5 years,condo just be a hot cake for new generation to rent only.(they just rent room)..flip market investor will be sakit kepala. (imaging within this 5 years,car tax decrease but cost car material increase,petrol no subsidy & 7 % tax on every thing).

Personal preference. For me its easier to manage, and can be ID and renovated extensively in future for the same budget

But on the other hand, for value. Its better to stay in a landed and flip in future. Will earn more that way.

Totally agreed with you.

In terms of renovation, condo/apt much more lower. And prefer to settle in highrise when I am retired as dont expect to stay with children. But for time being, still prefer landed as can have pets.

Condo's are getting more expensive and is still climbing, if drop will get a unit of good condo for old days

I think landed better la.

1)landed, your kids can running here and they. cycling.
2)landed, you can growth your own organic vegi, papaya tree ( be healthy and save money)
3)landed, you can wash your car ( be healthy and save money)
4)landed, you can rganised some BBQ party
5) landed, you can let your kids play fireworks during CNY, Hari raya, etc
6)landed, you can let kids play tang long during mooncake festival ( culture remain)
7)landed, can have pets ( dogs, birds)
8)landed, you can cook those traditional kuih for CNY, hari raya, chinese tumpling
9)landed, you know your neighbor better
10) landed, you organised party ( weeding, birthday, company annual dinner...no problem)
11) landed, you can let your kids play badminton in front of house
12) landed , you can have your own fish pond.
13) landed, you can have your own small buz .

Given condo... some above is not possible.

Hehe depends. If you buy selected condo especially mid high end ok.

1) Have large indoor garden to run around and even cycle.
2) X usually cannot. Just some herbs only in pots. Haha
3) Condo have designated washing spot actually. Well only hindrance is may sometimes its occupied by someone else
4) Aiyo. Condo have lotsa party places bro.
5) Can't play but can watch big fireworks. Hehe
6) Not cannot just restricted
7) X yeap landed is the way to go for this.
8) Well as long as your kitchen is not small can also la

10) Can also la high rise. In fact condo might be better if you have a mid high end one

house - got stray dogs, mat rwmpit

1. Its dangerous to let kids run around without parents supervision many kidnapping case unless is high end G&G housing area.
2. If want grow papaya maybe can curi curi plant a tree at a corner
3. Condo can wash car too and it's free water !!!
4. BBQ in condo with pool for kids and adult sound like good idea
5. Firework damn expensive leh i just bring my daughter to see enough
6. lantern still ok kua
7. Pets like dog is ok for toy breed less barking breed
8. Actually can do big cooking at yard but many dont do nowaday prefer to eat at restaurant, rest all fully booked during that time
9. I think live in condo and landed is same usually landed have problem with negihbour, becasue of pets, parking, renovation,
10. normally condo has area to do function right
