RM2k for 4d3n should be more than enough, unless you are staying in super high class hotel and hire an expensive supir and eat in expensive places.

The last time we went to bali for 4d3n, we spent approx rm 1.3k for the villa, rm 300 for the supir, and approx rm 150 for all food.
the villa is quite expensive but it comes with private pool.

Long time ago, can't remember. But staying in guesthouse (losmen) in Bali is more expensive compared to in Thailand.

How about end of Jan to early Feb (cny period 2014), anyone went there during this time of the year? I saw from pg.1, seems like it's going to rain a lot.

If the rain lasts only 1 or 2 hours, that shouldn't be a problem...

Hi guys,

I'm going to Bali with my wife and my 2 year old daughter tomorrow.

Here's my planned itinerary:

Day 1: will arrive at airport around 2PM. Check in hotel (near legian and seminyak). Planned to rent a scooter there and jalan2 kuta area until night.
Day 2: planning to go Ubud, Kintamani, Sukawati and Tanah Lot for sunset.
Day 3: planning to cover south area such as Nusa Dua beach, Uluwatu and Jimbaran
Day 4: my flight to KL would be around 7PM, so will ask the driver to give last minute ronda-ronda and send us to airport around 5PM.

I booked a driver and he is charging me 350k rupiah for a whole day trip. Is it OK?

Hi everyone, can anyone suggest how much cash to bring for a 5d4n trip (for food and activities+shopping) in Bali? Main activities in Ubud & Kuta and we plan to go for water sports.

Not looking at luxury kind of spending.. 1k MYR enough?

Last Thursday I realized my flight on 6oct 930 was changed to 6pm (without AA informing me).

So I filled 2 eforms complain, EChat 4x and still did not get response.
Fed up I went to their office in KL Sentral and changed the flight to 5th.
I had to pay extra for hotel stay not knowing the airport is close.

Thinking back, Luckily I did extend stay with extra $$. Else I would not be able to fly and burn all my hotel bookings.

But its not AA's fault. Bali airport is close.

my flight back home on the 8th got cancelled, and they just informed me 7 days prior, and im leaving to bali in 2 days time.
my friend went to the office and change the date manually. 9th is all full, so we had to take the flight on the 10th of october at 6 fcking am.
now i have to extend my stay, pay more for hotels, more money to use there, and apply extra days for leave.

this fckup is seriously ruining my holiday

my flight back is at 7pm on 10th and reach LCCT at 10.45pm. This was very much delayed from my earlier schedule. I'm gonna arrive KL late and next day will be working

I raged too initially as they changed my flight time TO and FROM Bali. But thinking back, I better not let it spoil my holiday. Don't let it spoil your holiday. Hope you get the schedule sorted out fast. Enjoy
