I just back from bali..... well i rent a scooter at 60,000IDR 1 day at legian area. dont get ripped off by the people..they will ask u wan buy petrol or not..because don't have any gas station nearby.. and i was charged for 15k IDR for 1 litre fuel which is bloodly expensive.

My tips is if you are 1st time going to Bali. better you hire a driver..because traffic there is so horrible... don't think bali road there is so easy to go.. ( what you see from the Google Maps and real life is not same)

My itinerary was perfect..actually its not. I drive a scooter from legian area to uluwatu temple,it take 1hour++ (because right now they are renovate the road (open big LOKANG) which mean the air is so dusty and dirty.

Here is some place that must go.

Uluwatu surfing beach - the view is amazing, you will see alot of surfer surfing around there.... there also have many restaurant can sit down and grab a BINTANG. but price is abit pricey

Padang Padang beach - nothing much to say.. just some beach and many people there.

Dreamland beach (new kuta beach) - very good place to swimming around there... water is good...don't get ripped off by the people there...they will charges you the Beach chair for 100k IDR. just pay him 30k IDR...and surfing board they will offer you 100k IDR for the board. But I just pay him 30k IDR..

Nusa dua beach water activity - Was quoted for playing Parasailing+Fly fish+jet ski (15min) for 550k IDR.. after a hard bargain we deal at 450k IDR. (IMO is very cheap already if compare to phuket). a very good place to hang around there.

Any good hotel recommended? maybe around rm150 per night?

Last time I was there for 8 days. But if you only want to hang around the beaches and shopping malls, 4d3n is ok...

What the.... 8 days?! Just in bali?

In a way I felt its gonna be super relaxing. But other side is I think gonna be boring. If just relax and do nth much.

Mind consider 8 days in bali for next year hahaha.
Gonna spend 4 days in ubud. Maybe another 4 days over at Lombok.

Actually I missed out quite a lot of places, despite having so many days in Bali:
- didn't go to Uluwatu
- didn't climb Gunung Batur, only viewed it from afar
- didn't go to Lovina

Long time ago, can't remember. But staying in guesthouse (losmen) in Bali is more expensive compared to in Thailand.

RM2k for 4d3n should be more than enough, unless you are staying in super high class hotel and hire an expensive supir and eat in expensive places.

The last time we went to bali for 4d3n, we spent approx rm 1.3k for the villa, rm 300 for the supir, and approx rm 150 for all food.
the villa is quite expensive but it comes with private pool.
