Last time I was there for 8 days. But if you only want to hang around the beaches and shopping malls, 4d3n is ok...

What the.... 8 days?! Just in bali?

In a way I felt its gonna be super relaxing. But other side is I think gonna be boring. If just relax and do nth much.

Mind consider 8 days in bali for next year hahaha.
Gonna spend 4 days in ubud. Maybe another 4 days over at Lombok.

Actually I missed out quite a lot of places, despite having so many days in Bali:
- didn't go to Uluwatu
- didn't climb Gunung Batur, only viewed it from afar
- didn't go to Lovina

thanks...how much did you spent for 8 days overall?

Long time ago, can't remember. But staying in guesthouse (losmen) in Bali is more expensive compared to in Thailand.

How about end of Jan to early Feb (cny period 2014), anyone went there during this time of the year? I saw from pg.1, seems like it's going to rain a lot.

If the rain lasts only 1 or 2 hours, that shouldn't be a problem...

I believe APEC event was planned long time ago. But Bali Airport only decided to close during this period in the last few days?
Does your travel insurance cover loss due to flight cancellation?

true
the event must have been planned at least 6 months ahead. at the very least. and they only inform a week before the event. see their fb page and see the rage on the comments section.
whatever it is, this shit shouldnt happen and headaches could have been avoided if they informed the customers wayyy earlier.

Im not sure about the travel insurance part though. This is why it's bad to just tick the box and click 'i agree' without reading the t&c. sad.gif

Hi guys, may I know if it is worthy to go watch dolphins over there ? Is it a definite we can see dolphins there ? Whats the price for it ?

From what I know, there are two places where you can see dolphins:

(A) Lovina - dolphins in the wild, possibly not a sure bet

(B) Swimming with dolphins - in the pool. This one for sure you can see them.
Bali Dolphins

P/S I have not been to any of this places to see dolphins.
