Im in seminyak area oh. Only rm200 per night. Really depends where u wanna stay.. By the way now very jam everywhere due to tourists. If u have specific places u wanna go then better stay near there. I travel from hotel to kuta beach took 40min due to jam.

Looking for something that have 'private pool kind of unit'. So my kids can mandi. So far park regis have that kind of unit WITH my 200~300/night of budget.

I filter my hotel search in KUTA only. Dont know much about seminyak area.

By the way can download 'go jek' app, it's a ride hailing app in bali

It rains sometime but it is still tolerable to have a fun trip!

just back from bali last week, 5 days trip,, damn bali was awesome! love it will come again and next time will go to lombok

find homestay via ab&b or hostels (booking, trip advisor, etc) , i stayed in kuta , just behind Sky Garden Bar.. very neat inn 1 room i think around rm60 only per night very cheap n clean room. easy access to anywhere nearby kuta.. walking distance to bar , spa , food and etc.

3 days should be cheap nia, i go 5 days spend around rm1.2k .. basically rm400 for souvenir (bought alot of hard rock tees) , rm400 for snorkeling at nusa dua, 1 day activity and rm400 for eat, pijat2 plus plus (massage + extras) 2 times lol

else u should be spending around rm500 max for 3days just for food, sightseeing and etc

grab is fucking cheap seriously..because there's also grab bike, i take from my inn to hard rock cafe (beach side) , and to sky garden bar cost around rm4? i even give tips rm4 because it was soo freaking cheap!

find homestay / inn cheaper u can find alot at website can see their rooms.. there's tons of hotel n homestay near kuta or sky garden bar , via walking distance cost around rm100-200 per night

Hi, can advise if travelling solo, is Grab/Gojek covers to far places like Uluwatu & Tanah Lot? Going maybe ok, how about coming back to town?

Or easier if jus rent a motobike?

yes it covers, but might cost more.. better u get local tourist guide (i can recommend u one guy) he will fetch u at ur hotel, bring u sightseeing (wherever u wanna go) for a whole day trip.. for 3-4 person inside his toyota avanza.. cost around 500,000 rupiah (rm140 roughly)

my trip
he fetch from hotel 7.30 am with toyota avanza
go to senor beach ( do morning beach activity till noon) like jetski, parasailling , snorkeling , banana boat, etc.
noon go to uluwatu to visit temple , lunch at rice terrace restaurant (damn nice view n good food)
after that go to waterfall (forget name) around 3pm till 5pm
lastly he stopped at souvenir shop to buy some souvenirs, 6.30pm he send back to hotel.

at night u can go urself relax for massage around kuta area or chill in clubs.


bike also ok, usually bike cost around 60,000 rupiah daily.. (bear in mind they charge like hotel, after 12.00pm daily rate) so depend on u which is more convenience and easier

for me we did rent 2 bikes (4 person) to go around town at night and easy to get food (mc donalds , etc) for further location we take supir (local tourist guide) there

the thing is Im travelling alone, so getting a guide might be a bit burden on my budget..
the las time i check, their buses also do not travel too far out

I recently went to Bali, so much fun! I definitely recommend, if you have the time, to spend time around the beaches in Bali, but also a couple of days in Ubud, totally worth it.

If you are looking for beach clubs, I highly recommend Potato Head Beach Club, it was a nice ambient and the view is gorgeous. No need to pay an entrance fee, many just consume food or drinks.

In Ubud, must take a tour to visit temples and go to the monkey forest!

is it recommended to use buses / taxis to move around as no plan to hire a tour guide... or it is better to have a tour guide to move around?

rent a bike then! make sure u got local sim with data

the simcard so freaking cheap! dont buy at airport / use taxi to bring u at simcard place

just buy nearby at small shops (after u checkin) walk around few shops most of them sell simcard

if not mistaken 4gb data cost around 35,000 rupiah (rm20+) enough for ur stay few days with whatsapp call, waze, grab, fb and etc..

even small inn / hostel got free wifi at reception / room area but coverage not that good

how many of u are going?.. transportation via taxi is abit expensive to move from point to point, i suggest if 4 to 5 ppl better take tour guide... around rm150 per car for whole day trip and u can even ask them to explain few things about bali , they also will avoid traffic and take shortcut so ur time will cut alot

I went there around September last year with my gf and stay at Kuta and Ubud.

When i was at Kuta I rent a bike to travel around, even travel to Uluwatu, Dreamland Beach, Rock Bar etc...

It's kinda adventurous cause it took us 1.5 hour to reach Uluwatu from Kuta Beach but it's different kind of experience.

you mean with around 150, they can be guide and driver as well? ya if more people then will be better but only me and wife going...
