Not nyepi day meh next week? 

We just came back from Bali 8 days trip. Quite fun. A lot of people promote their drivers. Before i say something about ours.
Does your driver?
1) Help you on bargaining?
2) Under table entrance fees, pay 1, 4 ppl went in ?
3) Bali has like small toll where villager collect fees, does he able to skip all that for u?
4) Historical explanation like a pure tour guide of places.?
5) Help you get cheaper Simpati Sim card ? some ppl here asked me to get from airport lmao,that cost like double/triple.
6) Take care of your kids.
7) Help you carry stuff
8) Shoot great photo

Well, thank godness ours has all the above.

Guys, i went to bali last mid june. Have been busy travelling to other places after that so didnt have the time to write my thoughts. I cant really remember the sequence and all already. haha. Here's some points worth sharing i guess?

- Maliboro chicken is good. A lil bit pricey thou since its some sort of franchise and probably driver will earn commision, but no fuss about that. If it's good food its worth it

-Bebek Tepi sawah was really good too but the price was sort of premium. RM20+ each?

-Babi guling is reallly overated. Have u guys tried roasted suckling pig here? It's like 1000000 times better than the babi guling there.

-Pop hotel was average but the price is reasonable for it i guess? RM100 per night.

-Naughty nuri warung is just okay. I've had better ribs than that and its not that cheap too. average price. The coffee however was really good for me. Forgot the name thou. It's on their special.

- Ganesha at jimbaran was average too with premium pricing. My girlfriend and i had to pay 500k idr for the meal, but we were having a feast . I heard and saw reviews online that Made Bagus is alot cheaper but couldn't find it ( the driver wasnt really keen to bring us there too to be honest.. haha)

-If you ever plan to buy duty free cigarettes please just buy at normal shop outside. Airport's duty free shop cost more ( Govt subsidies tobacco for the people?!?! hahah )  and less choice.

-If the driver ever bring you to a place where you can buy cheap branded stuff ( Armani exchange, Nike, Guess etc etc.), I forgot the name of the place, Try asking the staff if its genuine. I asked like 5 staffs working there and their answer is ( Saya kurang Tau ). Hahaha. Beware .

-Water sport was okay. You really have to bargain. I bargain till the salesgirl cannot tahan ady. haha. Turtle island is a must.

-Stayed at a villa called Sandi Agung Villa. BEST VILLA EVER. PERIOD. Managed and owned by their local, cost about RM500 per night. Their villa is beautiful, Their massage service is Gooddddd, and average pricing. and nonetheless, their service is just SOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSO GOOOD. It was my girlfriends birthday and i sort of requested them to prepare a cake. They did, and they even prepared roses ( 2 bouquet ) , Special setting on arrival ( roses and flowers on bed, Petals of flowers in the bath tub, romantic setting etc etc.) On the night of my girlfriend birthday we came back to our villa and got our jaws dropped. They even set up  the whole villa with candles and flowers all over it, set up dinner tables, flower petals surrounding it. We brought back out own dinner so they served us dinner  and even got their whole staff team to come and surprise my girlfriend after our dinner. Sang songs to her, cut cake, blow candle, happy girlfriend. hahaha.  Btw, All these extra service was given FOC, and i did not even request for them. All i said was, girlfriend bday, prepare cake, and maybe dinner table. OH btw, i forgot to mention they give free breakfast every morning where the staff will come in ur villa and cook breakfast for you! They even have 24hour butler service. Go there and live like a king . You guys can go trip advisor see the photos i posted there .

-Driver was good too. The very famous Arief . On time, friendly, honest, and will help you whenever you need. I have no idea why there's even any bad comments about him. Comfy car, with in car cinema . Stayed with us the whole time during the trip. Early morning till late night. Takes photo for us. Will bring you umbrella if it starts raining. The last day my flight was 6am in the morning, he even troubled himself to send us to airport in 4am even thou it's not in his jobscope anymore. Do ask him to bring you to eat local food thou. He brought me to some local places where the local eat and it was amazing. Cheap, good food, non tourist.

Overall, bali is a nice place to relax. Well, clubbing too i guess? Since you can get shrooms and pot easily at kuta. haha. Get a driver. Just relax in ur villa, in ur car, enjoy the food, enjoy the friendly people. Don't force youself to go every places.

Dear travelers, anyone of you just came back from Bali? I have a question, is it true that now we don't need to pay 200,000IDR at the airport? The reason i am asking is because today I found out that Airasia siap2 charge us the airport tax worth RM65 and told me that from Bali we don't need to pay their airport tax. Can anyone clarify this. Thanks!

I was in Bali in January and still required to pay the airport tax. Not sure if they have changed the ruling but the airport tax of RM65 was from KL to Bali or Bali to KL?

Fuhhhh. This is exp tix. I got MAS for June with my gf for only RM900 return KL-Bali for 2 person.
