i am using BB 9320 with hotlink (maxis) 1GB unlimited bis rm35 monthly..interested to buy q10.

1) if i am still using hotlink with q10 the bis is still unlimited or not?because i always drained the 1GB data before 1 month ended.

2) anyone can confirmed by using hotlink there is 4G network or not?

tq

The new BlackBerry does not require BIS anymore. So you can just use the normal mobile Internet package which should be cheaper. And mind you, since the phone no longer support BIS, there's no more data compression meaning faster data usage. But again the normal Mobile Internet is cheaper, so you can just get the higher package.

As for 4G, I believe it should support. I've been hearing about minimum data subscribed to enable 4G though, but I'm not very sure.

Honestly i have never been able to get a 4G signal from my Q10 before. Maybe it's my unit.

AFAIK bis monthly plan cheaper RM34 for 2 month(Umobile). connection speed is great for everyday use but surely not as fast as 4g lor.

guys..
i have a problem with my Q10.
been using it for a month or so.

my Q10 will auto restart whenever there is a bump on the phone.
eg: 1. when i drop my phone on my work desk when i am seated.
      2. the phone bumps against any object while i am holding it.

this doesnt seem normal.
however, i would wanna double confirm with you guys here, see if any of you experienced this.

I encounter this issue from the first day I got my q10.

Please do get back to whatever operator you purchased from, or vendor/reseller.
Its a manufacturing defect.
Maxis informed that it will be replaced with another set.
I will make sure that happens as well.

Very disappointing with the QC of the product.
Been an avid supporter of BB since 9700, 9900, 9790.
Reliability has never been an issue with BB.

Bro, as far as i know all Q10 are LTE enable le!

It could be due to your area did not hv LTE signal, since LTE signal are so limited...

just call to your provider and ask whether your area got 4G coverage or not, and check whether your sim card is 4G capable or whether your sim card is activated for 4G services?
