Just buy what you like, people can't really give you an advice on purchasing figures unless you want to invest in them.
My wife never comment on my collection or hobby of any sort.
I prob never going to sell my figures.
I'll give it to my children later in life.
Below I just get random figures that I Like over a long period of time.

I see black bible

Although am keen to get one of those, but it will be very hard to explain to family or GF later. So im selecting the collections that is presentable on shelf that i dont need to hide here or there in future

Nice stuff btw bro.

Actually figma is under small action figures category (which include SHF, Revoltech etc)
PVC statues and sculptures actually are under same category, which is static figurine
Hot Toys are actually under 1/6 action figures category (which also include the military action figure, medicom etc)
Haha actually lost of interest cannot be planned one; once you lost the interest, whatever route you plan ahead will just go into the drain

I have meet some collectors/sellers who are easily twice my age. Nothing wrong, but the common sight i see are they are retiring or having to sell off their statue because of family/wife/gf. I think on an average a collector in this hobby spends 10k - 20k in the LR. So before going too far, just want to do a reality check with experience collectors here. But I already have the answer, collect moderately and only figuries that we like..

Haha..
What i see there more to budget for collectors
If you in very tight budget but die2 also wanna buy toys, can try figma or nendo..lots of playabilities with their optional parts..
Pvc probably somewhat advance level..scale figures or non scale but they usually static..some figures now i see trend, they will include optional parts for different poses..you cant play much..but really can admire the craftmanship
Hot toys more focus on other than anime characters..hollywood movies..very minimal on anime, they did made city hunter figures back then but not really a successful..
Statue is like pvc..but on different level of material..they used polystones..if compare to pvc, much more pricier..
Polystones i think much harder to sculpt..and prone to break easily..so much for its price..some pvc do get polystone treatment..but for me,i be easily go for pvc..cheaper and easy to care..but some major companies who made figures that not related wit animes..they made statues for serious collectors..like characters frm comics..xmen,dc,marvel,etc ..statues do feel much more exclusives compare to pvc..
In the end..yes,buy what feast your eyes..
Yeah i like the detailness of the PVC statue. especially the head and back part. Very detail crafted and it is artistic. Can make our GF/wifey jellous at any time.
Sculpture cost about 1.2k to 1.4k each. But i find the facial craftmanship a big off and its too big to store and display. Considering most of our places are mostly inside a room rather than a whole house, sculture are just too bulky. But i saw a GIJOE baroness sculpture, she is hot

And the latest coming poison ivy, will make your wife wanna break her legs.
