price war..haha...no bro...since i have the budget of rm800 and what i can get from the shop just a average comp set or just slightly better ones for the budget of rm800 as what i survey from so many shops (off course not the KK low ones)

mostly all the comp sets tat are slightly above middle average ones have to spend more maybe i would say...rm850~rm1200? correct me if im wrong.

YUp as what driftmeister said before, spend more abit, in future i may not need to upgrade (cross finger) or i might transfer to another new car. Who might know hehe

So, A/D/S 236is will be a good deal? or just settle with DLS R6A will do the job, whereas for the adjustment for the tweeter @ DLS R6A i might seek Driftmeister for expert solution. can demo yor car bro since u stay so near my place. im staying near ss2,ss1, taman megah...in the midle.

For alpine i found out is a little boomy...the clarity of the voice produce may not seems sharp but the bass is there. (Alpine Type-S and Type-R series)

Focal 165A (not the polyglass V1) seems there have very sharp and hiss produce at the tweeter? im not too sure, but i think i'll skip this one. ( ilike the tweeter with FOCAL printed at the tweeter.)

Any brands can u guys reckon for me? worth of money, good sound produce, long term reliability, design and price vs performance.

i heard many brands such as DLS ,Sound Stream...fake too.

any idea how to see it? i know take down the serial number and the manufacturer sticker to judge it but in the shop...is abit hard to do it.

btw how to judge the comp set is good or bad?

Hey guys, im planning on getting a 4 channel amp. I got offered two different models.

1. JBL CS60.4 (RMS 60W x 4 @ 4 ohms, RMS 160W x 2 @ 4 ohms - 14.4v supply)
2. Prokick F1-754 (RMS 90W x 4 @ 4 ohms, RMS 270W x 2 @ 4 ohms)

Both almost at the same price, so which one u guys think is better? The JBL has a lower RMS rating than the prokick but im thinking maybe the SQ for JBL is better. Im more towards SQ but then again the im using Alpine 9815, can leave the all the sound processing(EQ and xover) to my headunit rite? When i get the amp, im gonna turn the HP/LP filter to flat.

Planning to use 2 channel to power front component set (RMS 60W, MAX 120W) and a 12" single coil sub (RMS 150W, MAX 300W).

Any suggestion guys? Which one will you get? Im not ice fanatic with big budget. Only wanna get amp < RM1000. Thanks!

SQ Amp < RM1000 ar, for me la I can't suggest u any SQ amp with this budget. Maybe u can buy 2nd hand la...

emmm JBL and prokick also more in SPl..if im not mistaken then sound quite heavy produced.

if u 1 2 get SQ set...v can go survey around n see how it goes. if we can get 2 sets at the same time maybe the shop onwer will give discount more hehe~

Oh...i dont expect to get top quality, pure sq amp lor. Just comparing both prokick and jbl. Just wanna decide which to get...or more worth my money. Cause one has a higher rsm rating that the other. Or maybe any brand more suitable for sq, not necessary an amp especially for sq. Hehe

What's the price range for DLS and A/D/S amp? I saw an A/D/S amp(light green colour) at accer shop, 4 channel, selling for RM800...should be fake?
