With E3 only a week away now, more news has leaked from the latest efforts from Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections. Here’s what we’ve heard so far:
-The Crew will offer a game experience close to DRIVER: San Francisco.
-The gameplay is rather semi-arcade, accessible, fun and efficient.
-The open world is in North America, with the possibility to travel between New York City and Los Angeles (reduced scale).
-Like DRIVER: San Francisco, the map will be similar to “Google Maps”.
-In “freeride”, players will be free to choose between missions or challenges.
-Multiplayer will be competitive and co-operative with an upper limit of 8 players per-session.

Today, a source confirmed that Ubisoft has been working on an all new racing franchise called "The Crew," being developed by Ubisoft's Reflection's Studio. It's been described to me as a "realistic title, possibly being positioned against Forza and Gran Turismo." Very little information was given, but if true, we should see an announcement and possible trailer this E3. The title is said to be for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and possibly current generation consoles.
