Disclaimer: Due to my job nature, I had to face many road accidents over the year, despite mostly the time I visited the car, the victim is no longer trapped inside the car or the corpse was being removed, but I can still see blood everywhere. As investigation goes, I get to see how things happened and how people got injured/killed in road accidents. My physics may be failed, but the investigator in insurance company/police forensics aint sohigh. Besides of Mr.Teoh "FELL DOWN" from MACC building, these professional usually delivered their best ability on investigations. I myself felt like being cursed due to this job. To quote mieza, it's like the law of attraction. As I facing accidents victim/vehicle/scene day in day out, I tend to meet with accidents by myself very often. Not that I made up stories trying to scare you guys about those "near miss" accidents. It's just that I've been trained to see accidents, and I able to tell whether it's a near miss. The most recent's incident was few months back when I was driving client's FLX at Jln Istana, I couldn't see infront has a stalled vehicle and almost run into it. For other people, this may be just part of their daily routine and they're not aware how serious it can be. Probably after got out of the emergency brake immediately drove away and forgot about it already. For me, ever since that incident, I've take very much cautious when I approach that stretch of the road, where I can't see the traffic infront I rather slow down or go to middle lane. Below is a story took place at ELITE express North bound yesterday evening.
![]() Those who follow my grandfather story all knows I kena buttseck. So here's what happened yesterday. I went and change spring in Dengkil, at my magician's shop. We managed to wrap up everything by 5:30pm and put myself on the road quickly. As I getting out of Dengkil hitting Putrajaya, I had to make a U-Turn. It was a hairpin curve, that allows me to take a high speed corner, as I wish to test out my new spring. It was no surprised that the standard APM spring have no match with SAPURA taxi spec I bought from SiuYi last year. Despite bodyroll slightly reduced due to lower height, but the bounce rate really isn't enough for the rear end to react as fast as before. I was texting lhwj over BlackberryMessenger, giving him some review on my latest long dued project. Those who have no idea about the difference between SAPURA spring vs APM spring, please refer spoiler below: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « As I reached MEX entrance, I looked at my trip meter, recon 5:40pm is not a good choice heading to Jln Tun Razak. So I quickly sway out and continue my journey heading to ELITE. I have not paying attention to my surrounding, coz mostly concentrating on my butt wanting to feel more from the new spring installed. After the toll booth, as usual most highway entrance is a large hairpin curve. I clear the barrier after Touch&Go, sprint all the way to the hairpin, at that point seen my speedo shows 120kph, suddenly a black old Mybi approaching quickly on my butt as I can see it in my rear view mirror. I put my focus back on the road and continue whack that hairpin. I was peeking on the meter, my speed gradually increased to 130, 140 and finally exit the corner and hit the main road. As I look into my rear view mirror again, I saw the black Mybi having an understeer then proceed to slammed on the roadshoulder. I was happily reduced speed, took out my phone and continue texting Luke what I've encountered. Several minute later, I saw the black MyBi coming in quickly but I was on the left lane texting Luke. The MyBi swift to my right, and the young punk roll down his passenger window pointing finger at me wanting to pull me over. At that time I just took a glance and found that MyBi whole passenger side was badly damaged, and the side view mirror was broken probably fly off on the spot during that accident. That point of time, the only thought in my mind was, I did nothing wrong neither do I purposely provoke that MyBi into a race. I did not cause that accident, but the MyBi driver's incompetent driving skill does. I asked myself in my head and found nothing wrong I did resulting that accident to that MyBi. If I stop the car, there's 2 thing I can do. I bring along my club and fight with that kid, either both of us goes into hospital and kena charge by polis, or he kill me and the next day you guys see me in the newspaper lying by the roadside of ELITE with a title of YAB dibunuh akibat GaGa BLM beliau terlampau hensem. The black MyBi was still trying to pull me over, pretend like wanna crash into my car. Ofcourse I will not let the MyBi do so, cause I just had an accident claim last week, and the workshop did a favor let my car out despite claim has not being approved. If I meet another accident now, the adjuster report will become not tally, and I'll be in deep trouble in getting my claim done. I hit the brake hard so the MyBi flew by. The bloody MyBi then proceed to cut infront of me hit the brakes wanting to stop me. I took out my phone again, texted the vehicle number of that MyBi WPH5*** to Luke, asked his favor incase if anything happened to me he shall proceed to report on my behalf. After leaving a message to Luke, I put signal to the right, then I squeezed through the traffic and hog on the extreme right using the right side emergency lane. I proceed to put on hazard light. As I reach Saujana Putra, traffic start to build up, I wasn't able to use the extreme lane. I looked into my rear view mirror, managed to keep that MyBi from a very far distance, atleast 5~6 cars away. I squeezed to the extreme left and getting myself ready to go into Proton HiCom. As I exit using Touch&Go, I was the only car on that lane. That stupid MyBi took a queue at the Smartag lane. I was slightly relief since I thought I able to loose him. Manatau when I wanted to turn in Proton HiCom that road, the traffic light was red light. I was praying hard the light turn green and God damn it the MyBi caught up few cars behind my car. I saw that person open the car door getting down his car, and thank God light turned green. I took a wheelspun and sped off. I was waving through heavy traffic in the hope to find a police station so I can keep myself away from that maniac, wanted to proceed Section 15 Shah Alam, but saw the traffic infront was stand still. I do not want to give an opportunity that person get down from the car, come over and whack my car. I choose to turn right getting myself into Kesas. The black MyBi was driving like a maniac, insanely dangerous kind of stunt he does to squeeze through the traffic trying to catch up with me. I was going to exit USJ and look for police station near by, but the traffic on that side is kinda heavy so I turn left proceed to Subang Jaya direction instead. Luke offer to assist me in finding a near by policy station, but I overshoot the Sunway exit. I decided to take the risk and shoot straight to Subang Air Port road, squeezing in and our, using all the fast moving lane waving traffic at my best since I'm quite familiar with that road. After Subang airport, I run 2 red lights straight. As I was reaching Damansara Perdana exits, I almost confirm the MyBi is not at my back already. Later I've proceed to make a report in a police station nearby my house. The chief ask me whether I'm lumba haram, I said to him if I lumba haram will I come in report myself? I just wanted to file a notification to protect myself incase in the future someone sabo my car I know who to look for. The chief ask me why the black MyBi chase me, the only answer I have for him is, may be that MyBi is a robber wanted to carjack me. Unfortunately, the stupid robber choose a wrong car to chase a GaGa BLM. Now that I'm thinking, I was lucky enough to outrun that MyBi. I really couldn't think what could've happened if I stop, and that guy has a gun? If it's a carjack fine, I lose a car, what if it's just a pure roadrage he wanted my life. I now think of it also shiver |

Please drive the car as is for a longer period before you decided to put on those bars. The least you can do is pay more attention on your cornering speed/action/vehicle bodyroll and tyre traction, so you can compare before and after the strut bar installation. The Gabby catch up at Kelana Jaya, I wasn't prepare for a 2nd round, so I slip to middle lane and give way. My speed was around 120kmh, and the Gabby overtook me from my right, speeding up the ram. I was smelling the Gabby's fume not far from it. As we reach infront of Giant, the Gabby continue acceleration, then gradually pulling away from me! As I seen the taling, steadily pushing G-force at the small curve after pos ofiz, a short straight road then he hit the westerndigital ram, then vanished. It was marvelous experience to play with the GaGa "smaller" big brother. I wasn't realize the torsion beam was meant to be that way when attacking corner. Learn a little bit more on torsion beam today as I suffer a minor loss in repairing it. Bravo Plotong. |

If you're getting 1 that meets minimal requirement without having the above 3 mentioned, anything below RM100 is find regardless how many years in the car. It's just a filter anyway. On the side note, KNN advertised increased horse power does not mean your car increase top speed/actual peak horse power. 1 must understand our GaGa came with ranjiao locked down by Plotong Siemen's ECU. Regardless how you change the airflow, the engine management will sough alternative to compensate output by altering your ignition/fuel injection rate, to avoid burning lean/over heating/detonation/ping that might harm the engine. However, it's not entirely useless for those performance filter, because increase of air flow can simply means changes of torque distribution. Despite ECU already locked, the actual fact is more air being sucked into the combustion chamber. So, your torque distribution may raised from 4krpm down to 3.8krpm. Some compensation on the high end due to burning lean. More like the graph below: ![]() |
