call up ur bank and inquiry about it ... UOB and mbb can do instalment by calling bank ..tell them u wanna do EPP for that particular transaction..

Ah I meant the 0% one, which is a merchant side thing. The calling banks one comes with interest rates, which is pretty pointless for such a purchase. Called up banks to verify this

of course need to pay 2-3% interest for up to 18months lo... telco hardly offer 0% EPP for latest gadget.... so , u only left out that option to get EPP...

other than that , u got no choice....

not to say pointless , but at least u can do epp at lower rate

Eh thought usually telcos offer 0% for 12 months or something like that? No ka. Like the official service centres of Maxis (not the exclusive partner ones)

Ever buy any phone at telco? For example, maxis pavilion have EPP for public bank, maybank, HSBC and Citi bank because they have the machine. It is 0% up to 2 years depending on which bank. Go do research first. LOL

i never do EPP with telco ...coz i have better package than what they actually do offer to public... LOL

I got blueballed today too. First called the Maxis shop in 1MK, they said they don't have stock. Then went to Maxis centre in Gardens, but they said they don't release to public yet, only to those who have preordered. I asked how to pre-order, they said by invitation only, then I asked how to get invited and they said you must be postpaid customer with certain spending. I was getting quite angry because I have been postpaid customer for 6 years and my monthly average spending is 1k+ due to a lot of roaming. He checked my account and a year ago it was switched from private to corporate account which has different rules. I was quite upset.
Anyways, he could not sell me even though he said he had about 900 in stock, could only release on Saturday.
I called to Maxis and they told me I can get as corporate customer if I committ to new plan, but I have unlimited data on my current plan, which they don't offer anymore - max is 4GB/month, so I will keep my plan and just buy the phone without a plan on Saturday. Just annoyed about this.
Wonder if I can get it from 1U without a plan...

i went to maxis ttdi and they said start selling S4 LTE on saturday. now they sell it to booking list only. if maxis 1U can sell to those walk in, i'm going there. but where is maxis 1U? is it this one in maxis website:

If you are also Maxis Multi SIM users, you will not able to connect to 4G signal even though you are in 4G enabled zone.

just came out from Maxis Center Pavilion, been told by the sales person 'S4 Lte will only available after this Saturday'. but when I call 123, the cs tell me is available by today

when you say that does that also apply to my case where I would like to buy the S4 and at the same time change from current paln to surfmore50 plan. is this called "commit to plan" ?

Not for Li ion batteries at least past 5-6 years phone. Those who tell you such still living in their 80'-90s. Now is year 2013

senheng offers EPP for most bank.... can get an extra 1 year warranty as well... was lucky to have this as my s2 wifi died after 1 year 6 month...
