QUOTE(Mashimaro1234 @ Jul 6 2013, 11:17 AM) Mind if I ask? what's the different between conventional & islamic loan?which 1 better? Side track a little for some basic knowledge of Islamic loan and conventional loan. Under the Islamic/Syariah concept, it is mostly the sell and buy transaction or buy and lease transaction as Syariah does not allow lending of money (using money to earn money). For mortgage Islamic loans, most simple and common transaction would be the bank buy from the developer and sell it to you, with deferred payment from your side. That's why Islamic loans (actually cannot be called loan, it is financing), may not have the lock-in period.

QUOTE(RichMumPoorDad @ Jul 6 2013, 02:52 PM) Myself already under 1 islamic loan. Understanding the statement is a struggle for me... The uninitiated type. Furthermore islamic usually giving better deal like zero entry or fre legal etc. This one aint nothing. Much debate has been on it. So, Nett nett, I m looking at my next conventional loan. Ok. Good luck bro I am still continuing

Just saw a news saying that Bank Negara will reduce the maximum loan tenure from 40 to 35 years for the loan application after 5th July 2013...just hope that my loan application will be approved & don't require me to resubmit or appeal for it... http://www.thestar.com.my/Business/Busines...debtedness.aspx

Hey guys , i went to the sales galary today , and there are still some units available. Those facing the pools are sold out , leaving only high-level units & east-facing unit. The sales representative told me that DIBS is still going , and he could put me into the queue for DIBS ( to replace those that couldnt get loan) thou i am not sure if he is lying or not. I was also told that i could take back my 2% deposit if i couldn't get the DIBS ( i am not referring to the loan rejection , jst the DIBS rejection). Is that the case ? I have no experience with new property, since my 1st properties is a 10-years old condo.
