Guys, what are the modification that won't void the warranty or that able to plug and unplug? I even read tinted will void the warranty and forced to peel at SC (I read this inside this thread). Why will it void?

tinting can void power window module. Because during removal of tint, a special type of chemical to remove the previous tint gum will be sprayed on the glass itself and the chemical will seep down to the door panel where all the power window, speaker (if has) and door lock actuator is.

walau, luckily you enlightened me. I wanted to change the tinting.... the ori tinting still very hot driving on hot days.

so how le? the power window supposed to be lifetime warranty, so for lifetime of the car cannot retint meh? the crappy ori tint the most can last 3 years... i have seen many Blms with bubble pop tinting on the road...... and it looked like the ori tinting to me.

that is why you need to find a tinting shop with good workmanship. Trained tint installer will minimize the risk above.

Ok good idea.... hmm dunno la.... dun bother much about the power window warranty actually. still opening the door to take toll tickets etc 50/50 unless I lazy, then use power window
