argh !! regret i flash the bios already. this bios cannot overclock at all. even i set it 225Mhz*10 which should be 2250Mhz but when i enter window it shows 200Mhz*10 = 2000Mhz. no matter how muchi setteh ht it's lock at 200Mhz !?

Becareful man... i think u better flash at bios....

means need to flash it using floppy disk are. aiseh. sien le .. i don't even have my floppy connected to my pc.

For everyone having lan problems, Biostar has admitted to receiving a bad batch of lan chips so if your board can get online but cannot transfer files over a network, RMA it.

I was expecting that.

I've try arround 6 bios and the Cu51m127rh worked well for me in terms of overclocking the processor,still figuring the rams.I suggest you guys to give a try on the above mentioned bios.

i think u hav to shutdown ur pc 1st after flashing.if u jz reboot it it will not work.

Just dun understad that... we can use it to online...send n received file...download some staff...... why cannot use it to transfer file when link to other pc... WEIRD !! Anyway i not try to link with other pc yet... hope not all got this problem..

You flashed the BIOS version 1006, I think you have use the winflash to flash.
If you flash BIOS 1006 with winflash it will lock the BIOS
you are unable reflash,
to solve this problem,go to gigabyte web site down the flash program call Qflash or QBIOS (forgot already I not sure which one),then use the program reflash the BIOS

I remember I have mentioned before (suppose page 2 or page 3)better flash the BIOS by CMOS,
if flashed in WIndows(winflash) may be will spoilt the onboard LAN,because it will flash the MAC address also

Cant OC after flash BIOS because you haven clear CMOS yet,
please clear the CMOS one time after flash new BIOS

I use this board not facing any unable transfer file problem in network,
currently connecting 2 computer.
but i facing always ADSL modem disconnect problem now, not sure is modem,line,or board problem.
Suggest buy router

When im trying to play FEAR (stage 5 = Interval 5), the whole screen went black, i can see my guns and health bar........other than tat, all black out.....If u encounter this problem like me, juz update ur graphic driver to the latest version which is v84.12.

but the staff there seems abit reluctant to change for me.they said they had change their company policy now, not giving 1-to-1 anymore.try ur luck

jz got back from alphamatic as well. haha we should have went together la save petrol. damn. now the lan is working perfectly. really need to go change la. it's really the in built lan card problem.
