guys.....yerterday i oc my proc to 2.6ghz. After running 5 hours and 7 mins of SPMark blend test, 1 error already. Here's wat i set in bios:

CPU Freq : 290
Multipier : 9
vCore : 1.55
My ram is at default voltage. 2.5-3-3-7 2T. default is 2.5-3-3-8.

Im not sure wat's the problem......can any sifu giv me some help?? Do i need to increase the vdimm??

Testing error may be your CPU OC to high,
if you want to change the ram setting i suggest,
vdimm 2.7V 3-4-4-8 1T
2T will seriously decrease the performance

I bought 754 T6100 with RM325,quite expensive

wanna ask all those sifu here. my system is prime stable at 2300Mhz for 7-8 hrs and i'm using a 6600gt at stock but why my computer will hang when i play dota half way. if i lower my cpu speed to 2250Mhz or below it will be fine.
i'm quite certain the problem is my cpu causing the problem but isn't it suppose to be rock stable after it pass prime tes for 8 hrs ?

ram = 2.5-4-3-8 ( okie i know it's abit tight for bt-d43 but even if i set it to 3-4-4-10 the same thing happen )


wanna ask what you guys set for the read preamble time and mas async time ? for hte max async time anythign above 6 and it's no post for my mobo. weird. and i tot it's suppose to be more stable if you set it around 8

U should try 3dmark for few task, let c got hang or not....

i run 3dmark loop 3 times no problem at all.


hmm memory problem ar ... quite possible all though it pass window memtest but it could be it. all though i'll be dissapointed if it's memory problem coz on my lanparty i was able to hit 263 Mhz 2.5-4-4-8 1T without problem.


the price i quoted is Tforce series. i bought rm290 from silence including postage to my house.

you can try 06 October BIOS,althrough its less of memory setting
but actually its more stable,i try before

Yo bro, i set my ram to 2.5-4-4-8 1T only. I set the fsb to 230, i got BSOD and sometimes cant even boot. Now my ram is running at 180+ only. I think max frequency for my ram is only 220mhz.

Finally overclocked to 2.56ghz.....

Edited: i think the reason why i cant get 2.6ghz is bcuz im using tight timing 2.5-3-3-7 2T. Should i use back my default timing? Or juz stick with this 1 "2.5-4-4-8 1T"?? Correct me if im wrong, aight. Cuz im a bit noob in timing thingy......

ermm .. i'm no expert either in oc but since both of us trying to push our timing mayb we can help each other out

ram = 225 Mhz 2.5-4-3-8 1T

jz want to share with you guys something weird about this mobo. at least mine. remeber all the rules about cas latency that 3 is more stable than 2.5. surprisingly i can boot at 2.5-4-3-8 at 245Mhz but i can't even boot at 240Mhz on 3-4-4-8. weird !

besides that i remembe rthat max async time 6-8 being 8 more stable does not hold true on this mobo as well. i can't boot at above 235Mhz if i set my max async to 8. but settingit to 6 i can boot at 345Mhz. will prime and see stable or not. nitez.

yo dude, even my system has this problem.
I think most probably the 12V rail is not very stable or not enough power.

For my liberty 400W, priming at 2.85GHz 1.52V is absolutely stable, and 12V rail has about 11.78V. However once I gaming for a few hours, i noticed the 12V rail drops to 11.40V only (using MBM high/low interval to check). Got 2 times i run 3D mark 03 half way and suddenly hang at that speed, so i guess the 12V rail might fluctuate too much until below 11V.

oh ... enermax tak boleh pakai la like tat. i also using enermax here. probably it's because of my power suply gua then i guess. aih.
