There could be an unoccupied room in the row of houses next to Fruitie's , go make your base there.

You can do any LTE test there too.

Done changing my sim at Maxis The Gardens, Midvalley. Now waiting for my E398 to arrive tomorrow, can't wait to experience the power of LTE myself. brows.gif

And be prepared to be capped after 30GB.
I'm not sour grape because I'm using one as well. smile.gif

What's the speed like after capping? 30gb is huge enough to me though. laugh.gif
*
I'm not sharing the speed, you experience it yourself. biggrin.gif
This is only my second month of using LTE, so not sure if my finding was accurate. biggrin.gif
30GB is not huge for LTE, one night - 3-4 hours usage can go up to 2GB.

I thought the 1800 tower in my area is slowly restoring, now back to slow speed. doh.gif doh.gif

Only that 1800 can help me to get more than 40Mbps. doh.gif 2600 can only get 30Mbps. sad.gif

Aargh I miss my fast speed. Just now 1800 can get 27Mbps, I was so happy. Temporarily only, now back to 15Mbps. doh.gif

I'm feeling sad that Celcom LTE is not available in PJ and my office. Mind you I'm sharing the same building as Axiata. sweat.gif

Once it's here, you guys will see my Speedtest. brows.gif I'll find the Account Manager for "good" Celcom plan. biggrin.gif

Tell that to someone who loves photography as well. smile.gif

Guess how much I have spent in these few months?

I can buy 50 units or more of E398. smile.gif

So it is modems + photography = instant brankrupt

If only MDMA can display SMS that will be perfect.

I'm using Company's Celcom line in my modem and I can't seem to forward calls to my own personal line...

I have tried that every time a call came in, it triggered the voice mail and missed call alert. I received the notification on MDMA but can't open the SMS... sad.gif

wow, my speed has been getting really unstable and disconnect frequently.. previously tried locked it to 2600, then now try 1800, seems all the same.. anyway to make sure i stay into one tower without jumping? T.T
family getting rather grumpy with the network connection liao
*
Where are you now?
Luckily my area only has one tower each for 1800 and 2600.
My DC-HSPA+ is not as stable as my LTE.

How do you know the band for the each tower?
Mind to share.

Now, my internet connection also not stable and hardly peak to 20mbps.
Just 11mbps sad.gif

Arghh...
*
I got the info from MDMA.
Once I'm on LTE, I'm only connected to the specific tower for each band. That's why I made the conclusion that my area only has two towers. laugh.gif
If I select both 1800 and 2600 at the same time, 1800 is the priority and will be automatically connected to that tower.

11Mbps is far better than your previous speed. Moreover, 20Mbps is very rare for DC-HSPA+ these days.

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Jun 3 2013, 12:40 AM)
area = Sunway, i hope i can get better signal here, 2600 = ~50% signal, can get more then 10mbps at times, but very very unstable
just tested 1800, ~60-70% signal, speed between 2-15mbps, dunno why sometimes extremely low... so far ok lar, but scare my dad complain cos his tv channel need network connection, and sister cant connect stable enough to her vpn
*
Looks like your area is not stable, mine has no such issue but 1800 tower seems to have issue in my area. Only around 16Mbps but 2600 still flies.
If it's OK, 1800 is much faster for me.

meaning 1800Mhz is still faster for you compared to 2600Mhz ?

so what will be your 1800 and 2600 in Paramount Gdn now ?
*
Yes, if it is in good health. It is twice faster than 2600. smile.gif
1800 is around 16Mbps, it is sick now. Else it can go up to 50Mbps. sad.gif
2600 is only around 33Mbps.
