thx for ur reply, but i saw some comments from tomshardware, there are ppl suggesting not to OC leadtek GTX 670 due to the poor cooler they have, and they got no backplate which i dun even know what was that. Most of the ppl suggest to take asus and gigabyte if really wan to OC [FYI, my gaming room is quite hot btw, that why my laptop is busted]
*
so the question here, are you going to OC your card? blush.gif

if not, then leadtek will do just fine i guess smile.gif

not really into AMD GPU after heard so many negative comment from the internet, is it really good? how much it cost? why u suggesting this GPU btw, thank you
*
what negative comment?
anyway, if you search in google GTX xxx issue or HD 7xxx issue,
there are tons of issues user having that might as well don't buy any of the graphic cards tongue.gif

still, which issues are you referring to anyway?

yeah its a good card, can check up the reviews.

basically AMD GPU are cheaper at the same par of performance within the same tier of Nvidia wink.gif

lifespan of AMD GPU.... and my fren told me nvidia GPU have better software update (i think he is talking about the driver update ,right? )
*
can't really say bout it because from time to time both of the AMD and Nvidia regularly updates their driver to keep with up to date requirement.
and
about lifespan of computer component really cant say much bout it coz imo it mostly depend on your luck XD

let other comment bout it tongue.gif

Just went at afternoon and purchased smile.gif and they do carry Sapphire cards actually
They didnt have the normal version, so i got the sapphire 7770 vapor x model, but i only realized after i bought it, a extra RM10 could get me the sapphire 7790, so definitely in a facepalm moment now doh.gif

Last question, not sure if this is too off topic, but a CM K280 with just the front fan installed is enough to cool the rig right? Gonna leave everything stock as i want this rig to last me around 3-4 years
*
since you just bought it few hours ago, cant you try contact them for you to add some bucks and replace with 7790 instead? who know if they allowed it smile.gif

as for the fan, keep the air flow balance is enough, intake = outtake, don't get too much intake or later your interior will get dusty faster.

Well, ruoughly RM490+- going to monitor (22"), and RM270 for Casing.

you left your component with budget around RM1.7k=+-

what are you going to use it for anyway?

hello guys need your recommendation on this build..due to some budget constraint i had to lower down my budget from 3k to 2.5k..
after some browsing in garage sales..this is what i had in mind..
all the price i look at lingloong site..

Intel Core I5 3470 RM585
Asrock B75 PRO3-M RM219
Gskill 4GB DDR3 1600mhz  123
SAPPHIRE HD 7790 1GB GDDR5 DUAL-X OC = RM485
Xigmatek Tauro 600W PSU RM239
Liteon 24x Sata DVDRW RM59
WD 1TB Caviar Blue HDD RM209
Xigmatek Asgard Pro Casing RM155
Dell 23" U2312HM IPS Ultrasharp RM589
Keyboard Combo: Gigabyte Mouse & Keyboard Combo 60
Total 2504
*
you can save up a little more by changing into

PSU = FSP Hexa 500w - RM150
Value RAM = TEAM Elite DDR3 1600Mhz 4GB = RM95

or you can boost up graphics by;
downgrade you PROC to intel core I3 3220.
upgrade GC to SAPPHIRE 7850 2GB

-------------

most importantly, what you going to use it for?

if there is a need for OC, i would need to get i5 3570k along with a z77 mobo rite?

either both MSI or ASRock h77 would do fine?
*
if you want to OC, I didnt know much bout OC.

but mostly people would say getting unlocked 'k' proc + z77 chipset would be much better.
+
you need to change to a better CPU cooler, CM 212 evo would do.

The price is much cheaper compare with others brand and series, i doubt the quality though......

Oh ya , can CM elite 431 casing fit in my GPU ? as i know, my GPU is quite big in size 185mm if i m not mistaken, thank you
