QUOTE(Hertz96 @ Aug 21 2013, 02:02 AM) So I can't access my thumb drive content with the stock firmware? Damn it! Hmmm. May I ask why can't I do so? Cause now I'm using a Sony Xperia Z Ultra and I used to own a few Samsung smartphones before and they all can be used to access my thumb drive content through OTG. Why can't this do so with the stock firmware bro? google removed otg supports for nexus, the stock firmware can do also la, u just need to root only, just a few minutes gao dim edi la

QUOTE(Hertz96 @ Aug 21 2013, 05:30 AM) Root for this already out? There AR video + written instructions on xda forums. Just head down there and have a look. My advice is to root your device first before you install anything into your tablet as you will need to unlock the bootloader first for rooting the device, and unlocking the bootloader will wipe your data. I had to setup my tablet twice :-(

for those of you who are planning to buy the Moko slim fit case like this one: http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Google-New-Nexu...nexus+7+2nd+genSuggest to wait for the revised version - for my version the metal clasp and the magnets dont line up - its a manufacturing flaw although according to the seller it is just cosmetic and wont affect the functionality (it does affect a bit - the case is a bit loose but still can close fine). There is a revised version but they did not ship out yet, he said instead of letting people wait, he decided to ship the current version. Good thing is - he offered me a $10 USD refund if i took the current version instead of requesting him to reship the revised version.

Interest with that case.... last time the case only 1 USD (promo) now increase to 9.99 USD..shipping costed me > RM 50 but now i think shipping should be cost more..not worth anymore if u buy 1 unit only..better buy from garage sales, cheaper.

come to think of it, how does one define "intensive battery usage"? according to some reviews the nexus 7 2013 battery can withstand 1.5 day of "intensive usage"... i tried playing games (non-stop with wifi on the whole time) and the best time i can get is about 7 hours. but if i played games for about 2-3 hours collectively and the rest of battery use to surf fb, instagram and internet (again wifi on all the time), only then can i get near the 1.5 day mentioned... so what is this so-called "intensive usage"? thoughts?
