Guys, 1 question ...

I already did a clean format to my nexus ( format data + system via CWM recovery )
and now it stucks at Google logo ...

what rom and what kernel?? always is the kernel problem...

u trying to flash custom rom or factory reset?

Actually I just flashed Paranoid 3.56 and Franco to my nexus but then I found out I haven't deleted some files thus they are found to be hidden inside my nexus, only 8gb available ...
therefore after reading some forums, I decided to do a clean format and after that I couldn't boot anymore and now can't even enable usb debugging ..

LOL... did u wipe internal memory?? O.o

in that case ur ROM is gone... reflash the rom gapp and kernel then.. should be no problem

Lolz. Wipe data and system means wipe everything in Ur phone.

Why I couldn't flash anything into my nexus using cmd or nexus root kit?

Reinstall USB driver.

ya....that one is fastboot...last resort u can try flash stock image...but i think taiko here can teach u how to push using toolkit...

That day done the adb thingy for my friend Nexus 4 using CMD. Didn't use toolkit. It was so much fun!!!

seem like you only can settle in via fastboot mode. first settle the USB driver first. make sure computer can detect phone first in fastboot mode. then only adb push command stock rom to your phone.

I was trying so hard to use cmd to solve it but failed...
maybe I have zero knowledge on programming or what
couldn't use adb sideload and push and also don't know how to flash zip file using fastboot or convert zip file to bootable image ...

end up using rootkit

Format data wipes whole "SDCARD" (your internal storage) while Format system wipes ROM (not just factory reset. It wipes the ROM itself)



Erm... You have CWM right? Check whether your CWM has sideload feature? If it does, you can try to use
CMD to adb sideload... ...
Boot into your recovery and see whether it shows up in adb devices
If it didn't, reinstall universal naked driver
The last resort, use fastboot, flash Factory Image then only reflash your ROM.

Next time... If you want to fully clean your phone. Wipe System (with your ROM to be flashed still inside your phone) then Install/Flash the ROM first. Then only you wipe Data. When you wipe data, the ROM will be gone.

To be safe, please flash TWRP. Since our Galaxy Nexus support USB-OTG (unlike Nexus 4). If you've done the same thing again, you can just throw your ROM into your Thumb drive and flash STRAIGHT from your THUMBDRIVE. You can also Nandroid straight to your THUMBDRIVE too. That's why I loveeeee TWRP!

Trust me, flash TWRP with toolkit too. Then next time you do the same thing, don't even need ADB/Fastboot commands. Just USB-OTG cable + Thumbdrive will do

yes, I successfully flash google image using toolkit but not CMD LOL.
and I also flashed TWRP too, much more convenient that CWM
