Dun put much interest to the new moto X. Since rumours said that it's only dual core and Nexus 4 already quad core and the screen resolution still d same. But might consider battery life, if the battery is amaze me then only will consider bout it.

"Motorola X phone's battery is not 1,500mAh, it's 2,200mAh, as correctly spotted by @evleaks in FCC docs (which we've verified)."

If really true then i think the battery life will be quite good, since it's only dual core.

If that dual core is able to provide a better user experience than most quad core, why does it matter? Don't be too focused on spec, its just a means to an end. The user experience is what matters.

+1. Since Krait 200 dual core should have the power of Cortex A9 quad core, I don't think it's a big problem

Quite a lot, not just slightly biggrin.gif Take SGX544 and SGX540 clocked at same speed with only one core, SGX544 is 100% better (double performance) than SGX540. It's really a lot actually.

3.2GFLOPS vs 7.2GLOPS

It's 5XT series instead of 5 which has multicore support.

You can look at the difference here
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_pre...eview-848p5.php

Galaxy premier, using TI OMAP 4470, similar to 4460, dual core A9 + dual core M3 (something like companion core) with SGX544 single core + Vivante CGPU.

Not sure if that Vivante CGPU made up for the difference but graphic benchmark like Nenamark shows almost double the result of Galaxy Nexus.

It'll be totally different if Galaxy Nexus had the 4470 instead of 4460. Won't struggle to push graphics to the display.

The bad thing is... You need to bring a powerbank >= 4000mAh recharge capacity (my definition: real capacity that a power bank can charge) to get it fully charged biggrin.gif

Anyway, it should easily last 2 days at least considering how power efficient A7 is!

However, I think the battery life should be similar to P770 considering the bump in screen size from 4.5" to 5" and from 960x540 to 1280x720 also from dual core A9 to quad core A7 (not sure which combination is more power saving). We've to look at the architecture too. 40nm in MTK6577 (P770), 28nm in MTK6589 (P780). laugh.gif
