Looks like some singapore VW Golf MK7 owners getting calls from service centre to change their oil to prevent the DSG issue altogether.

Any msians got the call from service centre?

Malaysians always get lousier spec. Singapore golf gets sat nav and 8 inch screen while we only get a measly 5 inch. And not to mention the rims.

Just got my mechatronic replaced yesterday at FA PJ. Anyone else got recalled? They called me in last week when I was in my hometown. "Mechatronic replacement campaign from Germany" claimed the SA.

Hi guys, have been approached by a friend of mine to take over his Mk6 GTI, does any of the VW SCs do point checks to see if anything is spoilt? I'd prefer to send it there to check before buying it..

Not sure if you need vagcom though. And why do our GTI come with the normal rear lights instead of these LED ones?

if u would ask me, those who always say "want to buy vw but ended up didnt buy because DSG unreliable" is those who belongs to the category sour grapes and trust me there is plenty of them around especially around here...
i can easily spot those from far...
smile.gif

i rather buy "unreliable" DSG7 then some lion shit who break down even without going to track...

make no mistake, there is owners (here in malaysia and overseas) who has their DSG broken down on them (DSG6 or DSG7), but all u need to do is to do your own filtering to determine actual owners (who actually faces this issue) and those who comment for the sake or commenting because they could not afford it and it makes them feels better after bashing...
