Tempted to get beats solo II after it's been heavily marketed on world cup with all the players using it but i'm open to pro recommendations

I am current using a Philips SHP8000 or something like that , 4 years i've used it . Now the sound will have like a woofing sound , I guess the film of the speaker is torn . or is it? Haven do a disection of the headphone to find out yet. But anyways 4 years is quite long time already . I'm thinking of buying an Audio Technica ATH-M50 . But i'm thinking is this headphone ok for an update to my old headphone or is it an overkill and i won't be likely to appreciate what the headphone has to offer.

I can't belive I'm asking this, but well, here it goes.

Any recommendation on headphones for me to pair it up with my Xonar STX?

Currently using the DR150 and the MDR-1R, I did read some reviewers says to tried out some of the higher impedance headphone to really bring out the STX true potential, but I don't really know if that's true.

If possible, I would like to keep it 400 and below, but I could stretch a bit if the option is the best choice

Requirements : Comfort (I do wear glasses) , I do prefer the sound signature to be neutral, with a bit of emphasis on lower bass, and smooth highs. Wide or expansive soundstage.

Prefer it to be balance for bass and treble or similar to the Beats headphones.

For bass, You wont go wrong on ATH Im50. For comfort, tryout the Shure SE215 (bass also good).

I was reading on both these models and the Samsung Level Over (SLO) looks really impressive. I'm considering my first high-end headphones and I've decided between these two, as they have:-

1) Bluetooth
2) Active Noise-Cancellation
3) Over-the-ear Design
However, I read reviews that MM 550-X has 'lag' issues, something that is prevalent in devices using Bluetooth 2.1 (SLO uses Bluetooth 3.0 and Apt-X). Also, MM 550-X is a pretty old design and it pricier vs. SLO.

Additionally, I find that there are very little videos/reviews on the SLO...almost like no one's interested in them. Any particular reason for this?
Anyways, what's your take?

Newbie here. My experience with the best headphone I ever owned is the wireless stereo headset for ps3 and that's all. Never tried anything that's better. The problem is that headset faux leather crack and shred miserably within just a few months.

I want the IEM to last at least for the next 3 to 4 years and hence the big budget (hoping the earbud will not shred like the headset). Is my budget overkill for my basic use? I'm considering seriously on Audio Technica IM02. Is RM800 sufficient for this model? Is there any other worthy or better competitor model to look out for?

Last question, is there a thing that can add a mic to the IEM without sacrificing the audio quality? How do you use IEM that doesn't come with mic to answer calls?  

Hey, thanks for the reply. Did some research on the replacement cables. I'm assuming IM02 comes with the HDC1 cable without mic in the box rather than the premium HDC5 cable?

In your opinion, is IM02 a revolutionary difference as compared to IM50 or is it just a tad better? If a lot better than IM50, I will invest my money on IM02 instead.

I have owned the following before:
1. Beyerdynamic DT990 250ohm pro -- I like the V-shape sig but somehow the coiled cable adds a bit of weight and the clamping force, despite being subtle, still hurts the sides of my head after 1.5 hours of usage.
2. Alessandro MS1i -- The best sounding pair I've had so far. But comfort issues are plaguing it, so I let it go. Also, some built quality issues.
3. Logitech UE700 -- Completely flat-sounding, really doesn't suit my tastes.
4. Beyerdynamic DTX501p - Sig is too warm, but pretty decent punchy bass.
5. Audio Technica ATH-AD900x - Awesome soundstage and clarity, but the airiness you get makes it sound like you are listening in a Live environment in certain songs, which is a bit fatiguing for me. Top-class comfort, though.

So now Im in a pretty big dilemma looking for the "best pair".
Can anyone recommend me something with similar sound sig as the Ms1i, but more comfortable and durable ? (On ear, over ear doesn't matter)
I listen to alternative rock, classic rock, classical, a bit of Pop here and there. More focused on Alternative Rock though.

im70, im50 or gr07 BE? looking for upgrade from xba-1. still dilemma until now.. going to buy gr07 but now i saw opinion saying im70 got some wide soundstage.. makes me looking at it now

Did some research where most of the person will recommend IM50 for this budget. IIANM IM50 is quite bassy but I'm not sure how good it is in term of clarity.
