Your rig - PC, portable console

What type of usage - Most use it on Vita at the bed, sometimes mp3

Genre of music you listen to - mostly pop

Headphone/ earphone type - must be earbuds, not IEM

Budget - RM100-RM150, prefer best bang for buck.

Try Beyerdynamics X1/2/3 IEMs, RM199 from Jaben. You'll have to decide if you want bass or treble or balance since the 3 models do perform differently.
Sidenote, has anyone done a Custom ear impression from Clarisound? What do I need to tell them if I'm doing to them for CIEMs, just do an impression up to the second bend?

Just provide them with ciem company instruction. Open mouth impression using bite block works best for me

ZZZ T_T Stupid fella ripped up my Klipsch S4 II on the way from the LRT (hooked onto it while I'm using it) , and now i need to find a replacement.... DX DX DX DX DX DX DX
And I lost the receipt for my purchase of the S4 bout a few months ago (stupid i know) and asked the retailer and they say if its not manufacturing defect cannot claim T_T
Loved the isolation and clarity of my S4, yet I guess i'm planning to try something new as long as it's worth the money.

Your rig - Sony Xperia ZL

What type of usage - Pure Music

Genre of music you listen to - Pop, bubblegum techno, hardcore techno, ballads, rock, metal~~~ Basically full range

Headphone/ earphone type - IEM

Budget - Not more than RM350, or maybe less.

Additional Requirements: I came from using the S4 so that's my benchmark. Either better than it or similar to it but cheaper (i got mine for RM359). A better surround will be appreciated. =P

May consider cheaper Klipsch S4 models, as long as it has a good build quality.

Ohh...don't open your mouth too wide. The fit will become too snug and uncomfortable. Cosmic ears offerings seems nice..

Yup they are my favourite iem currently

Will do. Will probably get the impressions done this weekend.

4-Flat Kaedes look amazing. I've tried the Sui, but I've been told that Keades just does everything better. Waiting to see how Donguri sounds.

Best to check what the manufacturer wants as different company have different requirements.

For cosmic ears, best to print the instruction as per their website and give it to the audiologist so they will know what to do

QUOTE
We need a full ear impression for our customers, including the crus of the helix, tragus and aniti-tragus.

The impressions must be taken past the second bend of the ear canal.
The impressions must fill the whole ear.
The impressions must be made with a high-viscosity silicone impression material.
Cotton dams are preferred.
An open mouth impression using a bite block is preferred.

Even for JH Audio has some slight variation to Cosmic Ears so better to play on the safe side thumbup.gif

Each to his own I guess. tongue.gif I really love the timber finish, especially the Classicals, kinda reminds me of the Flat-4 Kaedes.
