QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Aug 25 2013, 05:06 PM) Your rig: Sandisk sansa fuze / laptop output how about denon c560?Type of usage: Songs, music Format: flac, mp3, APE Genre: pop, ballad, soft rock, indie, jpop, kpop, j-rock Type of headphone: IEM Budget: RM200-350 Other requirement: Lost my Hippo Shroom, it was burned in more than 500 hours and I miss it so much. Finding an iem with similar sound signature. Preferrably good mid and treble, decent soundstage, vocals doesn't sound like behind a veil. Prefer bright than dark signature. Comfort would be a plus. NOT a Shure SE215 - tried and doesn't like it. Thanks! |

guys thinking of getting some good headphones. budget rm700 which in ear best ya? looking at hybrid headphones currently, anyone know what the difference compared to normal ism? the one im looking now is the T-Peos H-100 Hybrid Iem, looks very nice. Most probably can get for around rm700. i listen to rock, pop, alternative, dance, progressive house and many more. so around rm700 which headphones anyone can recommend me? For extra topup, I believe the Final Audio Design Heaven IV would be a good choice but I currently have a Monster Turbine Pro Gold, can that compete with it and is the FAD better than the Turbine Gold? Thanks

QUOTE(RowanPaladin @ Aug 26 2013, 07:14 PM) The Turbine has a slightly V-shaped sound along with some bloated bass. The H-100 would be pretty similar, but bass is obviously not going to hit as hard. so which headphone is the best in your opinion?? Monster turbines gold or the Heaven IV?Heaven IV sounds nothing like the Turbines. The Heaven are neutral, if anything. Huge soundstage and good imaging. Lows are tight, with a good amount of rumble, but not bloated, and works well with the rest of them spectrum. Mids are slightly dark, but colored just right, good details on vocals and well represented dynamics. Treble extends well, forwrd and aggressive, but lacks sparkle(which is why I didn't get it), slight peak at certain high sibilance moments but they work well with the overall sound of the Heaven IV. QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Aug 26 2013, 08:01 PM) Why don't you try the other range in FAD Heaven? I found the IV quite light in comparison to the C and S. It lacks the Heaven signature. There's also the Heaven V, although i haven't tried that one. no budget lol. how about the rock it sound r-50? seen great reviews about itjust dun like the curve design lol, can see wont fit my head very well, tried the beyer xp b4 |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Aug 28 2013, 06:50 AM) the site says using Alcantara, which is not velour, it's kinda it's own thing, something like the helmet paddings, those kind material the over ear uses leatherthis on ear must be another material similar to velour, because the design and look of the earpads are like velour |

but sad thing is that the momentum isn't portable even if its on ear or over ear, you can't fold and bring the on ear around that much, not even similar to the sol tracks hd where if the headband breaks, you can get a replacement at ease.

QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ Aug 28 2013, 10:18 AM) But V-Moda too small for me. Uncomfortable and more to bass head. While I prefer something balanced. I'm okay with Beyer signature sound. But T70P too big to be "P". Hehe... What else within T70P price that can I get. Or else, will get T70P. Prefer closed because no privacy with open, might disturb other... too small ah over ear woh, agree damn uncomfortable but already ordered the XL pads online, which is a replacement pad for better comfort tried the beyerdynamics custom one pro at jaben, that thing is bulky as hell! |
