QUOTE(diaBoliQu3 @ Aug 28 2013, 11:49 AM) Yeah. COP quite bulky and not suitable for at the neck usage. Quite difficult to get portable in both of powering and carrying. the vmoda not quite heavy IMO. just right. The COP damn bloody heavy and big!V-moda over color for me. Haha...And quite heavy. At least better look than beats. but the vmoda u put on neck cannot bend down much, because the aluminium hurts when press on your neck but if the earpads near your chin area still ok! need to stretch now fine just a bit for me already This post has been edited by Memories_Fallen: Aug 28 2013, 01:06 PM |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Aug 29 2013, 09:30 PM) Just wondering is the RE400 comparable to those high end IEMs? Like Final Audio Design Heaven IV. I am having a budget of RM500 and I can get any good IEM's from US at less than $140 on anywhere on Amazon or BestBuy. But most probably I prefer local as I can claim the warranty easier.I would like it to have a straight shaped IEM, no curves like the Beyer XP or weird looking shapes like the unique melody miracle and shure se series, just doesn't like the look of it Listens to Pop, Rock, Alternative, Dance, Electronic, Progressive House, House and also some Chinese Pop So any suggestions? Thanks This post has been edited by Memories_Fallen: Aug 29 2013, 10:25 PM |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Aug 29 2013, 10:26 PM) RE400 aint anything high end, and miracle is one which is mid-high end, the odd looking shape is because it is catered to your own ear canals Oh you have the Miracle? Heard its the god of IEMs LOLIMO give RE400 or RE600 a chance, they are worth the wallet break, in fact, I use RE400 more than Miracle But the shape of Shure SE series and Unique Series have a shaped that I know I am going to have trouble fitting it to my eyes, because I have tried the Beyer series, didn't like it all, it keeps falling off my head even I have used all the tips given wa RE6000 $399?? How about comparing the RE400 to Heaven IV? Is it comparable? And also seeing the Etymotic Research HF5 Portable In-Ear Earphones are quite a good bargain, they used to be $220 now $99 in Amazon. It's rating quite high on Head-Fi by ljokerl at 8.8 at sound Here : http://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-Research-Po...s/dp/B000XP8DJC This post has been edited by Memories_Fallen: Aug 29 2013, 10:34 PM |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Aug 29 2013, 10:37 PM) etymotic is seriously clinical, it will disect music like mad, not for the entertainment kind Have you tried the Etymotics HF5? Is it comparable to RE400? BA driver housing are typically like that de lu~ those tip u describe is called single flange, double or triple flanges give better secure fit and also better sound containment, i use double flanges on my RE400 how does RE400 compare HEaven 4? no idea the UM u seen is a unmoulded CIEM, they only give around 80% of actual SQ Yes those tips, I prefer single flange though, the double ones I used on the Monster Turbine was seriously loosed, it keeps for falling and not stay tight, but for any headphones, I believe they can be used with only single flame tips right? Like the Etymotics kind? |

QUOTE(Ghost_XIII @ Aug 31 2013, 02:11 AM) good morning all sifus..i am the type of person who jogs quite a lot and of course i listen to music while doing so. i feel you! All my straight end headphone plug also unable to use due to flexing it too much the problem is,when i jog sometimes my phone(in my pocket) shifted to a position where the wire of my headphone(at the plug specifically) is bent. over sometimes,my earphone start to malfunction.sometimes i just push the wire back in the bent position somehow fixed it but overtime,my earphone would die on me.(so far i just used cheap2 earphone that cost rm10 like that) so is there any particular brand of earphone that u could say very durable or should i just opted to the wireless one? either get wireless or when you choose another earphone, get with 90 degree headphone jack or the 45 degree (which is the best) to prevent any problems such from flexibility such as V-Moda Vibrato or the Munitio Billets series, but for jogging you should choose wireless earbuds such as Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 which is currently the best option for wireless This post has been edited by Memories_Fallen: Aug 31 2013, 02:46 AM |

QUOTE(franitalia @ Sep 2 2013, 11:22 PM) Might consider the BD XP3,because based on what i've read that the built is quite durable.Have already seen the Shure SE215,the cable looks so fragile, maybe not suitable for outdoor usage IMO, dun really like the XP3, cuz all the tips given doesn't fit my ear, all falls off, it sucks but I have tried a thousand times to get it on my ear but it does't stay therewhat't the price for this one?can you provide me a link of anyone selling this? even ordered extra tips from Jaben, didn't work either So you better try the XP3 first before buying it, or else you'll regret it |

QUOTE(franitalia @ Sep 4 2013, 07:12 PM) Bro,it seems like you own a XP3.Can you comment on the SQ?How's the mid to high range? Are the vocals smooth, crisp or dynamic? I used to have the XP 2, but due to the comfort, I sold it out after few hours of getting itThe sound quality is good, but no matter what u must have the great comfort of using it. If great sounding shitty comfort no use having it But the XP 2's sound quality was quite good. I am just a beginner, dun know all technical stuffs like dynamic or mids or anything haha, but quite a well balance pair, not too bassy or anything A great alternative I can recommend u is Sony XBA-1 at the same price, comfort is great on that ism This post has been edited by Memories_Fallen: Sep 4 2013, 07:59 PM |
