Guys, any recommendation for earphone/headphone at sub-100 category?

Was using Dunu Trident until... The right side sounds really tiny. With my laptop, I still can tweak the balance between left and right to make them sound even but hard with phone.

Just casual usage (song, movies etc).

Now using back my Creative EP-630 (all other earphone bought after this broken) which still refuse to die biggrin.gif

Should I order Dunu Trident again from Taobao? doh.gif Build quality "looks" tough that I never expect it to break so soon yet it did...

Would like to get one if the price is good.

I'm looking for a new earphone to replace my meelectronics m9. I'm currently considering a-jays five or meelectronics a151 balanced armature. Which is better in terms of sound quality? Any other recommendations is also welcomed. Thanks. smile.gif

I think for you there should be some bass involved. I was gonna recommend a Sony EX50...or 55 or something I forgot, and an XB30, but they have average isolation despite sounding rather good.

There's the Hippo Pearl. But I can't remember quite well how they sound like. It was brief and a few years ago. They do have a good bass amount and no sibilance though, that I do remember. Not really at bass head level but a decent amount, almost sounding like that EX55, or 50 Sony.

There's Jaben at Subang Jaya.
Also according to Audio Technica's website there are two shops at KL; Panphil Sdn. Bhd., and Tecxel Global Resources Sdn. Bhd.

Hi guys, first time here on this thread. Looking for a nice pair with my requirements stated below, please suggest.

1. Budget: +-RM400 (not real budget, if it's something really worth it I can go up to 800 max)
2. Using for casual music listening only, mostly J-pop.
3. Will use for both my desktop PC at home as well as my phone.
4. MUST be over ear, closed type.
5. Mic is not a necessity but would be nice to have to use on Skype on my desktop PC(currently using a cheap RM10 standalone mic).

I haven't tried the a-jays 5 yet, but I did try 1, 2, 3 and 4. But I would definitely go for the a151 for sound quality.
Btw, a-jays 5 is around double the price of meelectronics a151. So if a-jays are in your budget, you might find better IEMs.
And depending on what you listen to mostly, recommendations would differ

Hi, I'll need some recommendation for in-ear headphones.

Rig: iPhone 5s
- music only
- AAC via itunes
- heavy metal, jpop/rock and occasional ballads
- previously use A Jays 4, currently using t Jays 4
- looking for in ear type earphones only, and in-line mic for answering calls

I like the sound of my current t Jay 4, but I'm looking for something which gives higher clarity for mids & highs. I don't need thumping / super heavy bass. Subtle bass response without drowning all the other frequencies will be just nice.

I travel everyday on the lrt, so if the buds can provide a better noise isolation will be a plus for me.

I've searched online and found the Etymotic HF-3 which ppl give good reviews. Just wondering is there any other alternatives that I can consider? Do I need to get something with dual/triple drivers? Budget is within Rm800. Thanks

You need DAC more than amp I guess. What budget do you have? Go here and post your query Amp DAC Recommendation.
