welll i currently use ATH ESW9 for listening, maybe 30 mins at nite when i am free. so yeah, i love woody for the looks, and am saving for w5000 hehe. in a way maybe you go for something that makes you the most happy. i am sure taking out the w1000x for listening session will put a smile on ur face every time. i know it does for my ESW9 which is simply gorgeuos to look at.

The components inside are supposed to be sweat/water resistance, but not sweat/water proof. So there is still a chance for it to get damage.
Although i've seen in forums there are a number of people who uses it for gym/jogging, and most of them are still working. So it depends if you are willing to risk it?

I actually also bought a SE215 just for jogging/gym purposes and also for outdoor rough usage =)

actually i think you should try them out first
the w1000x sounds really romantic but the ad2000x sounds much faster
depends alot on your preferred genre/music collection

How about W1000x? I didn't know how to explain it in music jargon, however my taste was to listen to the instrumental song. Most of it is quite a sad song that will trigger manly tears for those who are sensitive to soulful music. Example, Korean drama instrumental ... or Indon love movie instrumental . Didn't like rock or with too much bass. For your information too, this will be my first headphone. At first I'm thinking to purchase M50, but after too much of good reviews, I'm thinking to get high end closed-back headphone that is much better than M50 itself. This is the reason I ended up with A1000x, A2000x, or W1000x as my budget is limited. Looking for other brand too, such as Sennheiser 650or Moda M-100 .. however, it was open and focus on bass. momentum is more compatible with ipod or iphones. Thank you for your feedback

judging from the quoted post i believe you will enjoy the w1000x much better

Cool, thanks!

The cables turning to "hulk" already. If it's broken, I have an excuse to buy new IEM. brows.gif

Hey dude, I am trying out a Hippo Pro One, the cable is kinda 'fragile' for me, seems you are great in these stuffs, do you know any way to take care of it better than 'handle it carefully'?
Thanks!

Guys can recommend me any earphone under rm100 that can compete with apple ip5 earpods sound quality? Previously tried a 2nd hand superlux hd381B, it sound plastic and the bass is not tight and deep at all.

be realistic, the Apple Earpods are most probably the best performing buds in the price range. Unless you are willing to fork out much more, can't expect another headset to exceed the performance sweat.gif
