QUOTE(Holyboyz @ May 21 2013, 09:44 AM) Hey lads im planning to get a new IEM for commuting use, My old Re-0 died on me so i'm keen on replacing them. If you like great details, have a try on Hippo Pro One I like balance in my IEM's not much of a base head, most of my music are very vocal. 40's ,classic rock and some indie rock. Can you guys suggest something in a 300 ish range? i wont mind paying a sliver more if its good. QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ May 21 2013, 10:45 AM) If I'm not mistaken s4 is the old version? After that there is the s4i and s4ii. According to their online store, MKii only cost around RM350.The best is if you still go test everything in Jaben Optimize in the sense that only the button controls is optimize for iPhone. QUOTE(beh0211 @ May 21 2013, 11:03 PM) Your rig: nexus4, macbook pro (thinking of buying hippo biscuit) ProOne, UM1 and SE215 are good options, however if you need to wear it while sleeping, SE215 might not do the job nicely.Type of usage: Music only Format: 320k mp3 Genre: K-pop / vocal / slow kind of musics Type of earphone: IEM, prefer over the ear (sleep-wearing) Budget: <500 I'm not a basshead but im a midhead. Your rig: Toshiba laptop, with iBasso D10
Type of usage: Music Format: 320k mp3, ogg, FLAC. Genre: J-techno (mostly use HD25-1 for this), acoustic (mainly piano, guitar and sometimes classical), vocal (both male and female), some J/K-pop (again, mostly use HD25-1). Type of headphone: Open-air, full-sized. Budget: preferably < RM1000 Other requirements: Am leaning between HD598 and AD900x, but other options are possible. Detachable cable is an option as well. |

QUOTE(takoWALIAO @ May 24 2013, 08:47 PM) Q701 might be over my budget, at least based on Malaysian prices. yes, it is well over your budget but it really excel at your preferred genre when paired with a proper amp But while I'm still in Australia, I might test that one too with a proper AMP/DAC (last time was with an e11, which IMO was still not enough to drive them). |
