Hi all,

Has anyone had any experience of purchasing Hurom Slow juicer through Lazada? Do i need to pay any customs tax for it?

Also what are your opinion of these two juicers? Appreciate greatly for your feedback

I have read a lot of reviews online and seem like the Hurom is one of the best available in the market

As promised

quite quiet. fast juicing though work at 80rpm speed. need to cut the fruit to small pieces

user posted image
The pulp can consider dry. still moist but cant squeeze more juice out of it

user posted image
Not bad....

user posted image
Juice from 6 oranges, can get nearly half litre. the juice quite thick and smooth

user posted image
Juice from 4 apples + 1 pink guava. The texture a bit smoothies-ish. the juice not oxidize though left unrefrigerated after 30mins unlike if using normal juicer, the juice turn brown almost immediately

user posted image
messy part - cleaning. not that easy task, especially at not so easy to reach part such as pulp dispenser and inside of the auger.. still easier to clean compare to normal juicer though.

based on it performance and price, this unit is worth to have. no regret buying it.

I've bought Bayers SJ-020 with cheap price, but this is really a normal slow juicer with messy cleaning after juicing.

I intended to sell it. Any buyers?

Currently, I'm using Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer.
It's the best good slow juicer at the moment and it's not cheap.
Cleaning process is very convenient & the juicing is 5 stars, nothing comes close to this now.

Some experts say blending is better . Others say juicing is . I think both are Okay laa . Nowadays I do juice fasting once a month . That means I consume only fruit/vegetables juice the whole day without eating anything else .  I feel my energy is up up since I started this juice fasting . Juice fasting is one of the most powerful way to heal our body .

Hi, I'm very interested in doing one day fruits fasting from time to time but couldn't get the recipe. I see that you have been practicing thia may I know if there is a recipe to be followed (so that all nutrients needed by our body are available) or it could be combination of any fruits throughout the day (up to fruits preference)?

Thanks in advance.

I don't follow any special recipe . I try to make it simple and usually I only use 2 fruits that I like example ie watermelon and apple . You can try combination like watermelon and carrot , apple and cabbage or any combination that you like . Try not to use more than 2 fruits/vegetables at one time because we should try make it simple . When I blend the watermelon I also use the skin because there are lots of nutrition in the melon skin . The same thing when I blend the pineapple , I also blend the pineapple together with the skin . Also don't forget to drink lots of plain water during the fasting if possible .

When anyone start juice fasting , usually you would experience all kinds of side effects like headache , skin rashes , nausea etc . Sometimes you feel weak and moody . This is normal . This means the body is doing its job cleansing the whole system .

If anyone is interested to know more about juicing and fasting , there are lots of videos by juice guru , Jason Vale in Youtube .

Thanks for your info. Will google for Jason Vale and study before starting doing juice fasting myself.
I ever done one round of juice fasting using commercialized cold press juice, didn't experience uncomfortable feelings like stated wondering if there's too much toxic in the body so the 5 days fast was not enough.

IMO the 5 days juice fasting is enough . Every human is different so some ppl may experience extreme side effects while some do not . Some ppl fast 1 day every week while some fast a few days every few month . Some ppl fast for 60 days straight because they were very sick . Jay Kordich ( another juicing guru ) went juice fasting for 2 years straight because he got very sick . Remember , everyone is different .

The main thing to remember is the kind of food that we eat after we finish fasting . Many ppl eat the same junk food after they finish fasting which I think is a bad idea .

BPA is an organic compound which has two phenol functional groups. It is used to make polycarbonate plastic, epoxy resins, and other things.
BPA will damage the way hormones regulate (control) the human body. BPA can pretend to be the body's own hormones. BPA may cause health problems.[5][6][7][8] Very young children are most sensitive to BPA.
Always choose for BPA free products when use for food container.
