How can this be so?
I took less than 3 hours from about 5% to 100% the first time

A lot of phones will show battery charge as 100% after being plugged in for an hour or so. But actually, the phone is in drip charge mode, so that we don't damage the phone's battery by having it connected to the power source after full charge.

To really fully charge a battery, we probably need about 3 hours or so.

I might b wrong, tho ...

Mine was on wifi with auto updating blinkfeeds, and plenty plenty of whatsapp message and emails coming in. Replied some whatsapp messages but did not play games / videos or anything that requires heavy CPU.

3 hours could only get me from 4% to 85% or so. and after that it slowed down to a crawl so perhaps 3.5 hours is my estimate.

I always charge with phone switch on n background stuffs being refresh - FB notifications, email, RSS, tweeter , blink feeds update etc etc

Were you using the HTC One ori charger? Or other chargers?

Will try charging again tonight after drain and hopefully it gets better.

Maybe u charge use laptop usb issit? hehehe~

am interested in the htc one but would like to know if this phone can be turned into a wifi hotspot (like iphone).

Hey guys, would I have any problems buying imported HTC One's instead of waiting for Senheng, SiS versions to be more easily purchasable? Like would I be able to use LTE with Maxis sims? Not having any luck with Senheng..and I really need one for mothers day so I'm going to have to just buy the expensive ones available now

So far all androids I have used can be use as wifi hotspots. It is a standard feature nothing exceptional

even my old nokia N8 symbian system also can become wifi hotspot...

this one useless one. coz it become an ad-hoc wifi. other device cant detect this one unless u did a mod to the network config setting.

You mean from DirectD? Well, should be okay but make sure that he is willing to give warranty for speaker blowout, screen issues, etc etc. I nearly bought from him but luckily my friend managed to secure an SiS unit on the same day itself.

if you want it fast i suggest you try call senheng branch instead, normally senheng come faster then senq, i just called setia indah senheng, they said this few days..could be today who knows:)

sometimes it depends who you pre-order with..for senq/senheng..why bother, ever see their outlets queue with people when phone launch? furthermore, there is no attractive feebies for pre-order as well, normally you'll get phone everywhere when it's launch, but you need to work harder in order to get one la

oh ipad can. apple product if i not mistaken can detect ad-hoc wifi. it is the android tht is problematic. especially samsung.

haiz..that's how mobile operator works.. even worst in taiwan most stock reserve for number port-in from other telco ..
