for photography tips, it is better not to shoot under flourcent light lol... if your room got windows, open up window and let SUNLIGHT in, it is brighter a lot and nicer a lot when shooting...
or add more light source like table lamp etc.... you can try experiment and see the result.
best of the best is get outside to shoot XD
and another thing: Human eyes is the best camera, so what do you see is bright enough, doesn't means your phone camera can see same thing.
*not sure about old folks's eye sight, i just know my dad got eyesight problem when he said now in nighttime can't see much things already, need a more light source to see clearly
