Not sure if mods allow this in FnF. But it's still related to cars.
Ok so we know brands come from different countries and the most 'accurate' pronunciation depends on the origin of the respective brand.
So Perodua is Malaysian and thus Purr-Row-Do-A or Purr-Row-Do-Ah.
Honda is Japanese so Hawn-Dar. Toyota is Tow-Your-Ta.
Bentley is Bent-Lee and Aston Martin is Ass-Turn Marr-Tin.
Ok so english, japanese are east peasy.

But the Frenchies, is it Peugeot is Purr-Joe of Pew-Joe?
I know Carrefour is Car-foo and not Care-Four.
I get slight irritation when people (especially employees) pronounce them wrongly.
Same goes for Burger King's Whopper which should be Warp-Purr and not Whoop-Purr.

Italian Alfa Romeo is Alpha-Row-May-Yo and rather than Alpha-Row-Me-Oh.

Now the Germans, Audi is Auw-Dee. No problem with that as most of us pronounce it like that anyway.
But Volkswagen is Folks-Wah-Gurn when generally, many of us either say Volks-Wagon or just Vee-Double-You.
Actually, i'm still pronouncing it the 'wrong' way i.e. Volks-Wagon. The English pronounce it that way IINM.
I've no problems with other brands' names but somehow i feel uncomfortable pronouncing Folks-Wah-Gurn.

Do you think you'll sound like a fag if you blurt out Folks-Wah-Gurn ??
You know, speaking of Malaysian context, people will hantam and say you're trying to be a foreign snob.

Contribution of other brands' pronunciation are welcomed. Hyundai?

Thanks for the videos bro thumbup.gif great stuff!

Well, there may be merit to it but I am also seeing some heavy American influence in some of the intended pronunciations. Anyway, I have a German friend who keeps pronouncing Porsche as Pour-she...and I dont think he is getting it right.

Yes actually, unanswered question. When a Msian conversing/talking in English or Malay or Mandarin/Hokkien/Cantonese/whatever or Tamil/Urdu (not in deutch lah put it simply) and then suddenly pronounce 'Volkswagen' the german-way 'folks-wah-gern', do you think he'll sound like a fag? Bcoz I don't hear people say it in normal day-to-day conversation.
