Ok I guess the simplest instruction is to just copy the 60% from costar and add in multimedia keys.

The finishing looks like a macbook pro.

yes, multimedia keys very important.

The rate is not bad, but for me reputation come first. So better google more on the reputation of their service first.

BTW, here is another winning formula for making mini keyboard.

But I doubt it can be done without increasing the existing cost by a huge margin, so just take it as extra knowlegde.

switches only, get on taobao cheaper i think.
any tkl with standard layout and led.

Taobao everywhere don't sell plate mounted.
Most of them are pcb mounted.

The mx clear I going to get is pcb mounted,
the seller tell me that I can cut out the extra stem so it fits pcb which support only plate mount switch.

PBT also comes in cheap pbt or good pbt.
Cheap pbt like Keycool offers which has really rough texture. sweat.gif
Noppoo choc so far receives quite positive reviews, except extremist will go and say HEY, FILCO IS MUCH BETTER !

But if you can fork out more money, get Ducky/Filco

Keycool is also currently quite cheap with PBT.

BTW, you mean Choc Mini? Choc Mini isn't too standard.

+1, better get PCB mounted and clip-off the extra pins if not used.

Also, you can always do stem harvesting and move it to your existing keyboard.

If anybody wants TOPRE Dye Sub SMOOTH PBT keycaps, you can order through us for USD 95 a set...(ouch). You won't believe that the cap is PBT. Nothing like Ducky/KBT/KBC's PBT Caps.

This is the FIRST TIME Rosewill asked me to take less than 100 units themselves. Not because of poor sales expectation but because factory cannot cope with production on the aluminium casing...Our RK9000 and RK9200 comes in few hundred units per order brows.gif

Do help identify all the problems. If someone can submit the PCB layout, we can get them to copy almost perfectly. There's little cost having a bunch of holes prepared on the PCB for modding. As long as you are prepared to void the warranty.

Poker 2 is the best 60% board by far that targets mass market. Their factory also has problem delivery the quantity...

Either Costar screw over the Tex designer, or they paid him a ton of money
That Tex logo looks classy btw.

Nail clipper should do the trick. If not try those steel wire cutter that normally used to cut LED legs.

Same factory. Just without the logo and layout slightly different. The aluminium on the 60% rosewill is not finished. The TEX is brushed then anodized. We want this board looking like a MAC than like the TEX.

Plate must desolder, some plate design in a way that you dont need desolder can remove top cover already. But to standard keyboard there is no way.
Even though just pull the top part I am not sure how, as I have no experience with pcb mount, unless u get me a poker1 tongue.gif
