May i know what's the function of LTE? Will it help to improve wifi connection? or is it just for the wireless internet and we have to subscribes to something like a data plan to access the wireless internet right?

I'm sorry for all these question, im kinda new about this smartphones stuff and im thinking of getting the s4 but i just wanted to know whether it's worth the wait for LTE version or not.

Basically LTE is a 3.5+/4G network connection.
Nothing to do with wifi. It only give you much faster data networks.
And no need to have special subscription but you better have some data plan.

It can go up to 20mb/sec. Imagine 5x faster than a 5mb unifi line. Provided the weather is good though...

Anyone here have try voice command over music player? Mine is not working. Say 'Play' and 'Pause' nothing happen even in quiet environment (stock music player). But it works for the camera (cheese, shoot, capture).

And another thing is, how can you say 'Pause' when your music on loudspeaker? Hard to capture your voice right? I assume must using earphone.

i found out wat is eating the batt. The wakelocks of this particular apps Maps have 1k-2k wakelocks and eating most the batt looking for my location. I closed it and i hope it will give me better batt. now average is 18hrs per charge before i close it just now.

Your Maps still needed for location/locator process such as weather widgets. Just make sure you exit/close your apps properly. Any app that you not using..log out or disable it.

Anybody know when lte version sme release ?

Only SME knows bro...when the LTE version will be coming here.

you are not alone, im also having tis wakelocks by maps, so evytime i go force stop it manually in settings > applications.

i think there is an option to turn off the auto location thingy one, helps alot.

u mean the options in settings > location services?

EDIT: oh no tot i was in s3 thread, now only realize i clicked into s4 bookmark in my browser
im using s3 btw, bt i guess it is common prob with maps having alot wakelocks

just hold on they release exynos octa 32gb then grab ap set

so far i tried use aout 3,4 different unit s4 sme set,and all units i try got problem with camera apps..sometimes its freeze about 3 second then reboot..after reboot its ok..but sometimes its happen again..tried use phone memory as storage also cannot..

Are those demo sets you tried?

well so far jz tested 1 unit of display set, i thought it was the unit having problem problem with the camera app, keep freezing n not responding. so the problem occurs in other units too?
