Black set are more buyers now and in the end white will be more expensive when the device in mid life. Haha.
Most device also like this.
*
It is because of demand for the colour. If for S4 the demand for black is more, then resellers will inflate the price for it.

Regarding pricing, I cannot say I agree with what were posted. Neither can I say I disagree. Reason is the price is very much dependent on supply and demand; and the introduction of new iteration(s), if any.

There cannot be any fixed duration or certain amount of depreciation. What were stated were just averages based on the trends so far. And I reiterate, it is not necessarily wrong but in all probabilities, not accurate.

Hey guys this is probably out of topic a bit but can we exchange a new set after buying for one week. Got it last sat but keeps restarting. Dont feel like sending for service because no spare phone. Does samsung let u exchange a phone?
*
I doubt it. But nothing ventured nothing gained. So, give it a shot. Go to the SC, like yesterday.

You gotta try your luck with the service center. I Don't think they have refurbished set yet so you can argue with them.

Make sure it is not rooted.
*
It is not a question of whether they have refurbished units. It is not their policy unlike Apple to replace 1 for 1. The reason I asked him to try is simply because he gotten his unit for just a few days. Otherwise, it would be futile to try.

I dont rly install much apps and my phone restart itself twice today. this happens when i'm on whatsapp and wanted to take pic.

Also to open the camera app takes me at least 5sec to open up. £!@%!@%@
*
In that case, you better make a trip to the SC.

If only restart while on WhatsApp. .then it's the app problem and not the phone. Maybe the app not fully compatible with the phone specs hmm.gif

Try remove that WhatsApp and see if your phone still have restarting problem.
*
You could be on the right track. But I am surprised that Whatsapp is not compatible as it should be, with Android, even with the bumped specs of the S4.

it is not lag, it is transitions...

Don't mean to be funny and definitely don't want to be pedantic but allow me to say it is the transitions that lag. tongue.gif

Does anyone have problems with the sensor? Was asking a Maxis staff abt the S4 and he said this batch has some kinda sensor problem.
*
Do you mind expounding what problems with the sensor you are inferring?

If I know more details, I would've explained. And its not me who said it. Like I said, a Maxis staff (TTDI branch) informed me.
All I know is a friend in Singapore tested her friends S4 and the sensor was "not so responsive" hmm.gif
*
You just answered us. It is therefore not so responsive. Needed to know cause I am contemplating seriously on getting this S4.

Sensors not being responsive could also be a software problem which can be fixed with updated rather than a batch of hardware with problem.
*
That's why I want to know. If it is just that, to me it is not a deal breaker. However, our friend got it wrong and thought we were trying to vilify him. Another, as far as I am concerned, sad example of how people without pausing to think can err to their own detriment in their train of thoughts.

That puts a damper on my plan on getting one. Well, suppose I have to procrastinate a little more. In any event, I am waiting for the LTE version. Hopefully, it would be better.

I infer that the LTE version, with a slightly slower CPU, may suffer the same issues, unless the drivers are better written since it is from a different supplier?
*
Well, going by the unprecedented turn of events, I am not sure how the new advent of devices will behave. We'll have to wait for the actual hands-on to know for sure and that too, must not be slipshod.

I have my suspicion. So, I was just putting my finger to the warm water, just to test. That's why I did not reply to her independent post which I was tempted to.

You mean the multi window bar..?
Use your toggle at notification tray and disable multi window.
*
You actually don't have to disable it. Just long press the 'back button' to hide it. In that way, when you need it, you can access it by long pressing the 'back button' again.
