Does anyone here know why my S4 LTE AP from HK does not have the LTE/WCDMA/GSM option in the network setting? And I can't use 4G with it. However, when I first put in the sim card and boot up the device it detected 4G for a while and then gone. And I try to go to the setting and found that the LTE/WCDMA/GSM is not available. I am currently using Maxis Postpaid. Used it with Note II LTE has no problem accessing 4G and it has the option.

Did you use a "cut" SIM instead of a replacement micro-SIM from Maxis? That's usually the case.

Transition lag still inherent in the S4?

How's the sensors and air view? I saw some of you guys complaining about it but ytd I went to try and they all worked fine

Nope, I changed my sim to microsim already at Maxis centre. And it is working fine with my Note II LTE.

Maybe you can bring the S4 to service centre and show them how your Note2 can detect LTE while your S4 cannot.
But again..your S4 is an AP set..right.?

Yeah, but my Note II is also AP from HK. And the S4 detected 4G when I first boot it with my simcard, then after a while it is gone and without the LTE/WCDMA/GSM option.

Duhh..you bought the phone from HK or you bought it here with HK firmware..?
If you bought from HK then the nearest service centre that might accept AP set is Samsung S'pore.
If you bought the phone here then just bring it back to the shop.

Most of us are using Octa non-LTE version.

Yes..both version can be rooted.
Snapdragon via CF auto-root.
Exynos Octa vua cofface cwm-root.

If I know more details, I would've explained. And its not me who said it. Like I said, a Maxis staff (TTDI branch) informed me.
All I know is a friend in Singapore tested her friends S4 and the sensor was "not so responsive"

And...in case my earlier post wasnt clear enough, I'm asking clarification...not degrading the product. Would appreciate the fanboys from leaving me alone.

You just answered us. It is therefore not so responsive. Needed to know cause I am contemplating seriously on getting this S4.

Sensors not being responsive could also be a software problem which can be fixed with updated rather than a batch of hardware with problem.

Still learning about android. Think u need to DIY more than the fruit brand. It's just not so straight forward.

Why need to worry so much? Aim a ex fruit 4s user. Bought mine on the launching date.
