I already expected some defects coz no house is perfect haha....just didn't expect it to be that many. You may need to check on the floor tiles as well, especially corners coz mine had a few hollow ones, around 1 or 2 per room. Tis certainly helps. By the way, need some advise from anybody who did kitchen extension for the 5ft backyard behind. I went to MBSA to enquire on the approvals needed and the normal kitchen roofing vs flat roof have different procedures for application.
From my understanding, normal roofing don't need any house layout etc but flat roofing would need architect's drawing and such. Anybody kind enough to clarify on the cost and procedures? Thanks! |

Did anyone consider using the small room at the back beside the kitchen as the wet kitchen (cooking area)? Can then install ventilation fan and channel the smoke outside. At the same time, need not worry the smoke will infiltrate the rest of the house.

This location is quite problematic with flood.
