Can't really remember but i think i paid rm100 for 2 resident card (walking) and my car access card and sticker are free. If you want to confirm on what you paid for, it's written in the resident's handbook so you can probably refer to that smile.gif
*
I only collected car access cards (paid RM150 for 3), stickers are free. Try go & collect resident walking card this weekend & see if they are free. smile.gif

Hi anyone whats the subsale prices of the units here....worth buying ?/?......looking for own stay......
*
I think the sub sale price has gone up... now is in the range of 570k-590k probably. I think for own stay it is still a good buy, my one cent opinion.

Hi all Ken Rimba residents, yesterday I purposely went and drove around Ken Rimba during the heavy downfall and found the road where the Puspakom is located is flooded, but something to be glad of is that there isn't any flood in Ken Rimba compound. Anyone knows who I should report this to so that something can be done on the flood. It will be very inconvenience for us to drive in/out during rainy days and we can imagine how bad it can be if rain during peak hours. Kindly advice.

Drain extension is already on the way, look at around JPJ/Puspakom areas, they are supposingly making drain.
how long this is gonna take ? absolutely no idea ... best of luck to you all.
*
Called JKR just now. They got my name and mobile number, they will look into that and call me back. I think I can wait, as long as things are reported and we will see how it goes. Of course better to be sooner than later. Cheers.

I am familiar with that area. Just wondering is it a good price. Can any sifu advice please. Buying for investment.
*
If you are familiar with the area and you intended to buy and keep the house for some years I think this price not feasible to get in Klang/Shah Alam proper gated and guarded area any more.

I suspect Legian's price might go up further once Jimbaran is completed.
*
I believe so. As Jimbaran final few units (from developer) were sold around 800k - 900k ++ range already. Once the neighbourhood becomes more lively, the shops open with variety of shops, definitely the price will go up.

I too believe the houses' price will appreciate but not so hopeful on the shop.
*
Actually the shops there only to give convenience to residents here, once there are more shops open, there will be easy for residents here to buy daily needful goods/services, indirectly will contribute positively to house appreciation. Cheers.

Guys, those who are stayong in Ken Rimba, how's the flooding issue around here? Is this a major issue? I read in the paper than the selangor gov going to widen the river because of this matter.

I just received loan approval for the condo but now contempelating on this project.

Any other good/bad point u guys want to share aboit this area?
*
I'm referring to Jalan Sg Rasau.

Late last year, the flood was quite bad. But as recently there have been heavy rains but I noticed the flood has reduced and not affecting the traffic anymore. Any other different view on this?

Can the management take extra care on the garden pond? Dengue fever is getting serious at this areas and besides of fogging what has the management done? I didnt see they clean the pond recently also especially after the water disruptiopn in selangor area.
*
I think it is best to voice this out to the management office. I see they do keep fishes in the pond to avoid the mosquito breeding. But I do see your point here. smile.gif

It seems the management dont really maintain the place well. The wall near the playground also full of graffiti but the management seems not to be bother about that.

The best part is I saw the workers used the bicycles that Ken Rimba promotes very much to show how they promote green lifestyle.  blink.gif . Don't what is the fate of that bicyle...
*
The defect repair team is using the Ken Rimba bicycle to go around the housing area. This has been their practice since beginning.

I think outside the gated area they are not doing anything. please voice out your concern to the management office. Cheers!

Let's make this place a better place to live in together.

There's fishes in the ponds???? I can't recall seeing any the last time.

And for the swimming pool, normal levels of chlorine will now kill mosquito larvae.
*
Yes, there are. I've been seeing the fishes in the ponds in many occasions. They were still alive and swimming the last time I saw them.

ken rimba is surrounded by small factory and car service center.
wonder if it is a good location to stay?
*
I wouldn't say it is all rosy for its location. But I've moved in for almost half a year. Ken Rimba has not scored low in term of security and liveability, from my perspective. As the entrance to Ken Rimba (the guard house) is facing inner road, hence the impact of surrounding small factories are quite minimal.

As for the flood, I do see the river widening works are being carried out at Klang side and many times I drive around during heavy down pour the roads are still manageable. I think on and off Klang area do get flooded, last year Andalas, Taman Goodwood, Bandar Bukit Raja and Bandar Bukit Tinggi were flooded, just to name a few.
