Hi all just to share,

Just to check if you guys have bought a Sensonic P10 10,000mah.

I have bought a Sensonic P10 from PCexpo recently with a free Sensonic earphone at RM99.

This powerbank does not show or contain a mere or less then 5000mah real capacity.

To test I have charge my Asus fonepad ME372CG which battery are rated as 3950mah from 0 - 77% only at a condition that its on and in flight mode with a fully charge P10.

With the 10000mah at least it can charge more then 1 times but less then 2 times of my phone, give or take of the resistence of 30% wastage.

Give or take I will use 35% wastage.

10,000mah x 35% = 3500mah loss
10,000mah - 3500mah = 6500mah actual powerbank charge.

6500mah / 3950mah = 1.6 times fully charge of my Asus fonepad.

I don't mine if its a brandless powerbank that I pay if its less then it mentioned.
But sensonic is a brand which is worthy of its integrity to provide its customer an actual 10,000mah (at least 6500mah)

I do not recommend this powerbank to user.

Just my 0.2

Anybody have a utoo S5 10,000mah powerbank which you can comment?

hello people~
i got a Macsonic 5200 mAh i bought from Groupon 2 weeks ago
any test yet for this brand?
i'm using Zenfone 5 at the moment and when i use the pb, i don't think it charged the phone fully..
coz i always use the powerbank not when the phone battery is empty, usually i start charging it when the battery drop to 30%-40%..
even so, usually the powerbank will run out of juice when it has charged the phone until 70-90%..
i don't know if Macsonic is a reliable brand or not but i do have my suspicion that the pb i use here is fake..
coz the packaging only have one 'Macsonic' sticker on it (on the front), while below and back only writes 'Power Bank' in large font..
the manual also written 'Portable Mobile Power Bank' instead of eg; 'Yoobao Power Bank' or etc..
the pb itself has 'Macsonic' brand in front but at the back just have 'Power Bank'..i never used a Macsonic before so don't know whether it's fake or not..and there's no guide to tell which Macsonic product is fake, not like other powerbank brand..
will be getting xiaomi powerbank soon, so if ts or anyone want to test the macsonic one i got here, i'm willing to let it go.. smile.gif

It might not be a fake.....just another OEM brand using low grade OEM battery.

Zenfone 5 batt is only 2110 mah, to charge only 50% of 2110mah battery and run out of juice, there is really no difference between fake pb and low quality pb.

I have it for so long already.. use for my e-cig and flashlight. Can be found at Pasar Pudu.

Most powerbank like xiaomi, yoobao, enerpad, pineng use 18650 battery.

An interesting read about powerbanks and swapping the cells to better quality ones.

Hi, this is my first time & posting in this informative forum. I have read the first few pages of postings & last three pages of postings. The TS has done a very good job of doing some testings. Salute his effort & patience.
What I want to find out here is I am looking for a power bank for my iPhone. I have been informed that there is a a very good quality one of German made with a brand " S.......". Does any forumeer here know of this power bank? Would be most grateful if can share.

The mobile phone shop owner could not remember the name except that it starts with "S ". I was informed that even the Japanese made quality power banks cannot compare with this German made power bank. However because of the superior quality & build of this power bank, it costs < RM400.00. The shop owner's customer bought it in Germany. I am sorry I cannot furnish more detail of name of power bank. I am hoping one the forumers might come across this power bank. I am looking to buy it notwithstanding the price. Oh yes, the battery is of Lithium Polymer type.
