hi all mod here...

well, i have a COD session with a forumer here, at 3pm today at KL central. the time and venue is decide by that buyer.

i even SMS him to confirm this yesterday noon, and he no reply. so i PM him again. and finally he reply my PM and then SMS me back. everything confirm.

today, i went to KL central at 1:45pm, and i arrived there at 2:45pm. i took out my phone, thinking to call him, tell him that i am there, waiting at Mcdonald. suddenly, i saw a SMS, at time 2:23pm

"Sori 2 tell u this.my bro juz came back fr da pc fair n he bought me a new a brand new ati x160 pro gpu. i don need da card nymore.realy sry man.no hard feelins."

...................... i really feel frustrating!! it is 2:23pm.. and our COD session is at 3pm. why dont he call me and cancel this????? to avoid this weird situation now, i am here, and no people coming.... it is ok if you want to FFK, but please be a bit responsible ok.... i waste all my petrol, my tol, my parking fee, and i am at the KL central!!

this is something only 100++ ringgit, i dont mean to make this problem big and argue in a public forum. but i really BOH SONG with this irresponsible ppl... a sms at 37min before the time, cancel everything.. not even a call.. i just checked my inbox, no PM also!

please advise me what to do in this situation...

dun deal with him anymore loh. some ppl like that one la, it's his problem and will pull him down later in life

FFK case nothing anyone could do.

EDITED : alternatively there's the idea of paying RM 20 deposit first, just in case buyer last minute FFK. could make this a general practice for CODing cases - although people could abuse this for $$$.

bro.check properly da time i sms u man.i woke up at 6.40am in da mornin 2 sms u.i was worried u cud not receive it in time n i had 2 leave my hse.dun give me 2.23pm crap.u did not call me as my phone did not ring at all.n in da mornin i have lecture's soz i off my fon.i told u 2 strictly sms me.but nyway i'm very sorry for da inconvenience n i extend my sincerest apologies 2 u.i did not mean any disrespect.i assumed dat u had edi received da sms in da mornin.sorry once again.

Woodstock, check the SMS time. Sometimes the message got jammed halfway and can only be sent through at a later time.

nex time use reports...it will tell u if the msg was received by the receiver.

a few things to inform you...first see the bold words below.

He did not say he called at all. Thinking of calling but when he opened his phone, he saw the sms. There could be only one of two possibilities.

1) He did not hear the sms, probably taking a bath or while he was busy driving
2) Network operator problem. I notice that you say you SMSed at 6.40am. By now you and everyone else should know that some sms don't reach the desired user instantly. ESPECIALLY in the morning when some people have not switch on their handphones...

Solution: JUST MAKE THE BLOODY CALL
