got a surface rt too, is screen protector needed?

anyone can recommend where to get any sleeve or casing?
*
I have been using mine from day 1 without SP. So far, so good. Only grouse I have is the RT's screen is quite reflective. So, a non-reflective SP may be in order if one is intended.

Still awaiting my e-bay procured folio case to arrive via snail mail.

I am thinking of buying one. Can I ask a few questions about Surface RT?

- does it have free adobe app so that I can open pdf files and do the other things that I normally can in my pc with adobe reader?

- is it printable to a HP deskjet advantage 2060 printer? Please check for me if this model is in the apps.

- does it come with free Angry Bird seasons 1,2 & 3?

- does it come with free candy crush saga and temple run?

Thanks.
*
- I can read pdf files without issues
- not sure as I have not tried printing anything off my RT
- I can run Candy Crush via FB on the RT. Haven't tried any of the others.
- Youtube runs well

why microsoft did not implement I7 intel core on their surface??maybe will overheat like crazy aite??
*
With the current i5 surface pro, there's already enough grouses to keep it from being "successful" eg high price, low batt life (4 hours), etc etc. Some more want i7? blink.gif

Have not tracked standby time but from usage ala excel, powerpoint and pdf with wifi on with a full charge, I still had abt 51% batt charge left after almost 6 hours flex.gif

if the specs around the same, i tink it all boils down to each individual preference? design of the tablet i mean~

imo, i would go for Windows RT because u can choose to use the type/touch kb or not, and also the finishing looks more premium~
*
Besides the form factor, Surface RT comes with Microsoft Office while the Yoga RT does not

Of course...
Actually I'm more curious about 3rd party. Mini HDMI to VGA can works on Surface From or nt..
*
Nothing proprietary about the micro HDMI port on the RT so, don't envisage any issues using 3rd party adapters.

As I sometimes work with excel files that may link to other excel files, I just experienced a fail on this, cell with links to other excel files end up with a #VALUE! error shocking.gif All the files are in the same folder and this error does not happen with my other workstations (non-RT).

Any help is appreciated or is this an inherent problem with windows RT?

These are the inherent limitation of Office RT.
To Power users (using VBA, macro, data from external sources .... ): current Office RT (even 8.1) is not suitable for you.

Thanks for verifying my thoughts. Looks like I will have to look for a non-RT alternative cry.gif

any1 facing unusable type keyboard, reset a few times still doesn't work....wonder its hardware or software problem

I've encountered instances when my touch kb failed to work after "waking" up. Sometimes, detaching and reattaching worked but sometimes, a full reboot was necessary.

Been using my RT less recently as I have been working with lots of multiple linked excel files.
