Thats good news for music lovers  thumbup.gif .
Im looking forward more on mp4 format compatibility video player, since most anime source i found are moving from rmvb to mp4 now. Hmm if the paid version isn't expensive i will consider also.

Yea the deal is quite tempting, is it ready stock? But, I'm still lacking a few hundred bucks for it  sweat.gif .
*
Yes its ready stock! All the animes/videos I'm watching are still mkv format so I really need a good mkv player laugh.gif

Will be working out money for it  drool.gif .
Currently waiting news from a bulk for cheap RT, dunno when it will be ready since the TS still finding people. He said need at least 50ppl  blink.gif .

Alright, I just downloaded mobile.HD Media Player(USD3.49). It plays 720p anime fine with the option to choose audio track # and option to load/add subtitle in SRT format. Will try 1080p movies now biggrin.gif

Well to be honest RM1140 is really a great deal already, the feel of holding it in the hands is absolutely enjoyable nod.gif

Edit: Tested the app with 1080p video, runs fine too but adding subtitle is not working, may be buggy still.

Envy now. Last time I bought Surface RT and RM2000++, though I never regret.
The price is cheaper and cheaper, until turning Surface RT apparently that "cheap". =,=
*
You should stop reading laugh.gif

I bought it when it 1st came too, no regret. Great device. At least you get to use it for a few months before it became real cheap which makes it an ever better device laugh.gif

thats what i believe after testing with many projectors, most monitors with vga can use the normal oem to extend for RT
*
Where can you get those cables for Pro? I found this IPMart but you still have to purchase the cable http://www.ipmart.com.my/main/product/Mini...php?prod=362306

And this forum link http://forums.wpcentral.com/surface-window...micro-hdmi.html says that the RT works with micro HDMI to HDMI cable.

I tried searching in eBay, there are some quite simply chargers going for RM30+ http://www.ebay.com.my/sch/i.html?_trksid=...cat=0&_from=R40

But I think its gonna charge kinda slow.

that one is for RT. which I think most probably no need for car charger coz the battery lasting very long..

but different case for pro which I think will need car charger. pro consume lots of power, it won't last long.
*
RT charger works on Pro too, just that its half as fast. But for a charger which the power input, I think its gonna be slow for either Pro or RT.

i wouldn't agree less games for surface pro. it's purely windows 8 and capable of directx games. just limited to storage and graphics..

btw, I can't see the video.
*
He was comparing it with the iPad so I assumed RT, which is a lot less games.

Nice, i like the way that apps being minimized & multi-task very much  drool.gif .
I think i heard a keyboard sound "tomp"  laugh.gif .
The BookHD very cool also, turn background and words inverted color for easier reading in the dark. BookHD is the app opening pdf file or through internet?
*
Keyboard sound? I think its coming from my desktop laugh.gif

The Book HD app is for ebook reading, it supports epub, pdf and some others.

uTorrent costs $1.99 and there's another app called Torrent RT FREE which I don't think there's any limitation but may present with ads.

Need some feed back.

1) RT can install google drive & dropbox? Are this 2 apps on Windows store?

2) RT can open up large PDF or powerpoint files smoothly?

3) The microsoft office that bundled with RT home & student 2013?

Thks in advance for answering.
BTW, it would be interesting if PRO have a price cut of RM300-350 :-)
*

  1. Has 3rd party Google Driver viewer, Dropbox is available from official dev.
  2. Have not tried.
  3. Yes, Home & Stud 2013.

Hey, thks for the prompt reply.

My company stores all files on google drive and I need to download those files to the tablet so i can work offline sometimes. In this case, if there's no Google Drive app for RT, then I think it will not be suitable for me (eventhough the price is REALLY attractive!!)
*
Oh wait, apparently Google Apps are integrated together into something call Google Search. It includes Google products, including Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Maps. Let me test it now.
