You'll definitely have fun! Once you walk in the paddock, lets say you're facing the spectators seat, turn right and that's the first turning, try walking down till you reach the 3rd / 4th turning! You could pan with the malaysian flag as the background!

Ahh Don't think I'll be going! >< I have Milo breakfast run haha.. comfirm leg damn jelly after the run :/ You have fun man!

Can bring anything in, they don't check bag 1.. this is kinda casual for everyone, just remember don't be a smart ass and stand at the road and put your life and other people's life in danger! Stay safe!

i dont think anyone will go to the middle of the track unless they so desperate to due laugh.gif

yo ! i'm studying at india too, imo the price here is kinda high... better to get at malaysia for a cheaper price... unless u r 6month ++ from getting one in malaysia, then can consider getting one here.. for me i would pay the extra lets say rm600 for the 6month worth of photos =)

btw, where r u studying? cuz the warranty havta claim from nikon service centers, and some part dont have... so kinda much of a hassle to claim a warranty.

Studying in Belgaum, USM-KLE College, near Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College. I saw one seller selling d800 for rm8100 (converted). I know need to go to big city for warranty and in belgaum, they have nikon collection centre. that kinda nice. It just is there any pros and cons if buying something from Nikon [Other Country]. Used to buy all my equipments from Nikon Malaysia. Wanna feel secure with this kind of investment. Plus, it's 2 years warranty.

I'm just a newbie >_< that Super GT was my first and only time shooting in SIC track. We have different style of shooting hehe, I need to learn from you! smile.gif
You can see my settings on the EXIF on Flickr smile.gif Rule of thumb, use Shutter priority and set speed according to panning effect needed.

Lower shutter - MORE panning effect (blur background), LESS sharp area of subject (depending on movement), LESS chance of nailing the shot
Higher shutter - LESS panning effect, MORE sharp area of subject, MORE chance of nailing the shot

OF COURSE, shutter don't go up to like 1/1000s or so... that will just end up as a PARKING shot... Imagine, NISMO GT-R stopping in the middle of the track? Rosak ah?
3) Use Shutter priority
TTA not sure, Super GT, Moto GP etc cannot bring to grandstand... they want earn money mah...

What about lenses? Need a good one? Kit lens/Tammy 2.8 can do the job?

When it comes to Nikon, Body is only local warrantied and the lenses are international.. so if you come back to Malaysia the D800 warranty will be void unfortunately biggrin.gif Thats all! Happy Shooting dont think so much!

Hehe no need, just need practice practice practice!

Uhmm any focal length will do! I love celciuz wide angle shots, but for most a 100mm - 300mm would be perfect! biggrin.gif

A fast focussing lens is actually not really needed.. Just manual/prefocus and enjoy panning! biggrin.gif

Uhmm if you focus is not nailed there is no way that any software in the world could recover the image

if exposure is off by by a few EVs it is possible to recover the data.. so ofcourse its a big deal bro biggrin.gif
