as i force-installed mihome launcher, one of the problem that i encounter is whenever i reboot, it will stuck at the one touch logo.

so last time because i unable to re-flashed using one touch upgrade,

i enter the recovery mode, and restore from there.

Dear senior users of Glory 2S, thank you for all your guides. I have successfully rooted and using Link2SD, linked all the apps to SD except system apps.

I noticed even thought I installed all future apps in SD card and ensure all user apps in phone are linked to SD, the usage of internal phone memory still keeps increasing, I am now even desperate till uninstalling Google Search and Gmail apps.

I accidently deleted my gallery with my stupid big finger!!!!!

Is there anyway to solve this problem?!

if you're rooted, then put the apk in system/app. after that, change the permission of that apk by long pressing it. change it to:

owner --> tick-tick-untick
group --> tick-untick-untick
others --> tick-untick-untick

after that, install the apk, then restart your phone. should work if it's the stock apk

yea ur problem is same with me..last night i have to reflash because of factory reset..the setup wizard always force close in my phone..

so i would like to inform that please dont delete these 2 apps..
-setup wizard
-alcatel help

because of this u might have to reflash again because of the wizard will always forced close..
or anyone can justify this?

hmmm i see. to be safe, i just reinstalled those 2.

I have long uninstalled Alcatel Help. no prob so far.
though i do keep Setup Wizard.

if i were not wrong swapper require
- root
- custom kernel which support swap
and we re still in the stock kernel

i do believe something like that also.
the furthest we can do right now is just create extra partition and combine with link2sd.

none so far manage to increase RAM or atleast of whom i'd known.

what i mean is the alcatel help needed when u want to start the phone after a factory reset right?
because after i reflash the setup wizard cannot finish and i suspect because of the alcatel help..it was in the first setup for our phone..

but i cannot clarify on this yet..

yes , better install back , one new forumer ask for my help have this issue , he deleted the keyboard too
and i seems cant reflasht eh phone thru one touch upgrade,and i only receive my phone have the lastest version , thats all

after factory reset, everything will be thr including alcatel help.

but just incase, how to reinstall alcatel help? i still have setup wizard tho.

Factory reset will clear your data, will not restore your app.

I have removed alcatel help and perform factory reset and what I noticed those apps i removed is not restored.

I mean if you have removed an app, and you expecting factory reset to recover where would the app be hiding to be recovered? Nowhere.

unless u freeze it, if you delete it, means the apk is gone. cant be restored

oh lol my bad, i forgot, i flashed, not factory reset. sorry guys!
