i also have problem to upgrade..before this i never try using alcatel upgrade..hope sifus here provide solution..

alcatel onetouch manager can detect my hp and i already backup my data via alcatel onetouch manager..
just ONE TOUCH Upgrade S can not detect my hp. i try ver 2.8.0 and 2.7.5 still got same problem.. i try within oand without battery also..
i try used another pc win7 also got same problem..

need some help here, rooted my device...sim unlocked and using hotlink sim, work very well so far ,but 2day i realize that my phone cannot receive incoming call,line busy every time i try .....

ps: hotlink sim seem like having very low signal in my phone, sometime it show no survice at look screen .

any one facing some issue?

i also fell my hp little bit crazy if i using other than digi sim

maybe:
- ur hp low memory bcause u installed alot apps
- low hotlink reception. try setting network mode. select 2g/3g (auto mode)
- try restart
- last choice: factory reset ur hp or try using digi simback

try every thing u said b4 already... this hotlink sim is my primary no... anyway, thanks for the reply ....
and i actually deleted the sim lock app long time a go, does it have anything to do with this issue ?

i have problem to use ONE TOUCH Upgrade S . it keep say i already have the latest update.
i want to reflash the phone because after i reset to factory the setup wizard keep force close so i can't complete the setup and use the phone. i think this is new because before this I use ONE TOUCH Upgrade S more than 5 times and it work.
any other way to reflash this phone or way that can I bypass the setup wizard? now I can't use the phone

I don think it will affect. since u have unlock it, all other telco sim should be able to use it.

i think u can try install cwm in ur phone and reflash to original rom and then update again. Go google xda-developers.

thank for reply. but i it say to install CWM i need go to Setting>Developer Options>Android Debugging---Tick this.
but now i can't even open my phone setting to tick that option. how? any other way to install cwm to inaccessible phone?

press the up and the power button while ur phone is off , u will see cwm, i guess its the stock one,if some one can upload his stock rom backup file i guess can save a lot user here

And for those who cant restock your phone as it shows your phone has the latest version on One Touch Upgrade its most likely because you have restock it too many times. I was doing it for fun and eventually I had this problem.

Sent my phone to the Alcatel Service Centre now its fine. It only took a day for them to fix it.

Call Dropping?

My phone is rooted and unlocked.
And now been using celcom prepaid in it.

I've noticed this warning "Restricted access changed" that keep popping up regularly on my phone.

This is the main culprit for call dropping and few more network related problem on my phone.

At the moment i still figuring how to solve this problem. Havent found any solution just yet.

Any of you guys getting the same prob?

I hv another same phone,that not root...how can i use that to restore back my other phone?
