than boon foo is your best friend.. he has both those things and maybe even some old school shimano hubs if you don't mind the weight

i for sure can't ride any low spoke count wheels without breaking spokes... even my current 28 spoked rear wheel has broken a few spokes... but that is due to my butt itchiness of lacing it radially on the non-drive side... so, it could be my fault for those few sacrificed spokes...

let it be lar... where to find the spokes... all ordered in from US leh...

next time order.. .order more replacements already... this one was experimental only...

uhh... i think spoke tension with 32H is all over the place because the spoke tensions are generally very low with high spoke count wheels...

actually.... a combination of high spoke count and high crossing makes the wheel more durable... if you lace it like most performance wheels out there like 1 or 2 cross...i think it might end up weaker anyway...not sure lar, just felt that it is like that lar....

as for open pro 32h... boon foo has it and no thanks to me in part.. KH Cycle also...i asked them if they have 28hole open pro and they terus masuk 32 hole open pro into their KL store and tell me to go collect 'em... of course i lepas their kapal terbang lar... and made one more enemy along the way...

got all sorts of spoke hole configurations...and almost as light as 240s...6 pawls high engagement count, and enduro dunno which grade bearings, full aluminum axle and freehub... the only thing is i felt the hub won't last long lar...quite a bit soft... so, you might have to buy a spare freehub jus in case the pawls f@k up or the cassette start digging into the freehub spine.. mine already a bit scratched...

and the best part...they have front hubs that are even lighter than zipp's 88 hub.. .and not to mention a wider flange spacing... 78mm vs 75mm

but all this say no use lar...it is f-in far away and shipping costs is nuts... and long term reliability is yet to be determined...i am a~hole who expect wheels to last 6-7 years... but none has lasted more than 2 for now...

i know mavic produces 28, 32, 36 hole open pros... so i asked them if they can check if singapore KH has stock of 28 hole open pro... mana tau without confirming with me they straight away fly the 32 hole version in and tell me it is ready for collection... so, i didn't collect lar because i set my mind on the 28 hole hub already (because of sale price )

i did not promote dt swiss hubs mar...

so i did not do wrong...i always say shimano hubs...or some cheaplak novatec 4sb or something like that from ebay...rosak... kasi buang cos its so cheap...

i dun see them trusting me when i asked to buy the ROX 8.0... i had to pay full amount up front some more...

dun need service lar... shimano hubs are so cheap... buy spares and replace aje lar...and shimano hubs dun need jack shit tools to service it lar... just 2 allen keys and i think every damn thing falls out and you will see balls rolling on the floor...

there is only so much a nipple can take (pun un-intended)...

everything from the Rim ERD, nipple length, hub flange height, spacing, all affects the spoke calculation... you can be off by an mm or 2 as the nipples can take up the slack but you will run out of threads real fast...
