This is interesting:

fleurdelis le dernier cri:

Galaxy Note 3 Picture Debunked. Samsung Apparently has 3 Prototypes of the Phablet
http://androidspin.com/2013/04/29/galaxy-n...of-the-phablet/

The image above, was reported by SamMobile that it was in fact the Galaxy Note 3. Apparently due to a comment someone left, it is not, so SamMobile did some research, and according to their insider, it is in fact not the Note 3. That device is codenamed ZOPO ZP950, another phabelt with mid-ranged specs. Also reported by their insider, is that Samsung has three different prototypes of the Galaxy Note 3 floating around. I guess they are having difficulties sticking with the same design.

So the three prototypes that are floating around, all have completely different designs. One has the same old Galaxy S design we have come use to seeing. Another, has a completely different design from the Galaxy S line we are use to seeing. And finally, there is one with a flexible display. Pretty much they have, boring, better, and fantastic. Seems to me that that if they want the new phablet as the “next big thing,’ they better go with a different design with that flexible display.

Specs of the Galaxy Note 3 have also been unearthed. The Note 3 will apparently be rocking a 5.99” Full HD display, Exynos 5410 Octa with the A15 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, that will most likely be the international variant of the device. Us over here in the states will probably get the A7 processor at 1.7 GHz version, which still packs quite a punch.

So that is all the Galaxy Note 3 news from the weekend all rolled up into one ball of phablet goodness. We still are months away from IFA where the Note 3 is rumored to be unveiled. Let us know what you guess think of the specs and prototypes.

This news states that the pic is NOT REAL. The earlier ones said "could this be real?". And it also states here that the size is confirmed to be 5.99" ie 6". CPU, ok, expected, but 3Gb RAM would be sweet. Hopefully someone could hack on ChromeOS or full blown Ubuntu, but well Ubuntu can already run.

joytest  baronic do u know any task managers that work similarly like samsung's one? Can't live without a task manager. I recall some of the s2 roms do incorporate it but no idea about note 2 roms.
*
I dont like third party task managers as thet often conflict and drain battery. Whats wrong with in built task managers? All roms shud have em what

The more they try to tackle it , it only get worse n back to cycle of trying to find the best task manager
Just allow the system to manage

To be frank, are you even facing any battery drain problem. Or just another one that freak out cos BBS shows you got audioout_2 wakelock. hmm.gif

I have it everyday. If i play a game for 1 hr, i get 1hr audioout_2 wakelock. If i play a game for 34 mins, i get 34mins audioout_2 wakelock. Go figure.

I could suggest to buy a canister of CRC. Small canister costs about RM25. If you use it sparingly, should be able to last you 5 years at least. Damn good inert electronics cleaning fluid.

May be obtained at Pasar Road.

Big bottle of CRC. My last big bottle lasted me about 10 years  laugh.gif

[attachmentid=3417497]

Good for cleaning off electronic residue after soldering and other general electronic component cleaning work.

Actually I'm ok without a task manager. Only thing is I like to exit my browser properly after I use it and there's no such option on AOKP.

Also, can anyone recommend kernel that supports calibrated colors and exfat support together? Using devil now but having no exfat kinda sucks.

And my browser crashes occasionally.

On stock rom you can edit the CSC to add exit button to stock browser. Dunno if it will work the same way with aokp you can try.

Does AOKP support exfat in the first place. If yes you can try redpill.

BTW, a few dozen vs 2 score? 1 score = 20, 2 score = 40 ... few dozen would be, say 36 (ie 3 x 12), or in the case of Baker's dozen, 3x13 = 39 ?
